We’ve been here a few times and have never been disappointed. Quite a variety of food and reliably delicious! Great little place in the Doylestown Inn. Unique decorations with the chandeliers, hats and suitcases. Staff are attentive yet not overbearing and bartender makes a most excellent Bloody Mary. Parking Is free on Sunday and be sure to stop at the bookstore down the road.
This restaurant is fantastic! Went here for lunch with family and everything was perfect! I ordered the Ahi tuna melt and it was delicious! I also tasted the Reuben hash my son ordered and would likely order that next time I go. Our server, Bernadette, was stellar and the atmosphere was unique and welcoming. Can't wait to go back.
Friendly staff good food although it was served fairly cold.
The first word that comes to mind is unique. The decor and layout of this historic place is very unique. The restaurant sits off of the lobby for the inn, to which some better signs might be in order (especially outside). Seating is cozy, but there is a good amount of seating available. The food arrived in a good amount of time and was tasty. The crab beignets were amazing and I would give them 6 stars if I could on a 5 point scale!
Thank you, looking forward to coming back again!
Good food flavor options. Lots of things to see and observe in this facility. It is fun for the eyes! They did an excellent job, maintaining the history in the space. I loved the chandeliers!
Nothing less than 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟⭐️ food was delicious, excellent service # our server Bernadette
Good food, great service (Denise !!) and an all around good time with family. Nothing better than trying a different place and having a wonderful meal. Our apprtizers...unique deviled eggs, and the mussels in white were delicious ( the empty plate is evidence !!) and a nice surprise underneath with soaked up sauce and crusty bread. Our main dishes of cat fish w/ crawfish ettoufe (?), Flank steak, and escargot with bone marrow. All fabulous. We ended the meal with chocolate mousse cake w/ chocolate ganache...yummm !! Easy atmosphere and good drinks from the bar. ENJOY !!
Great atmosphere, downstairs bar is cool, friendly staff food was very good! Stopped in for lunch on Saturday, we were seated right away. Our waitress was attentive to us, the food came out hot, prices were in-line for the quality of the meal.
WILL BE GOING BACK! Very friendly staff, awesome setting. It's in the Historic Inn (still functioning) and keeps this relaxed posh atmosphere. We ordered the Escargot with Bone Marrow in a delicious kinda gravy/sauce washed down with Cider. My husband loved the beer selection and had on draft lager. Delicious 🤤 and highly recommend!!
We enjoyed brunch at this unique gem celebrating mother's day, it was so unusual, with a surprisingly different menu, friendly staff, and creative decor! Being a travel agent, I couldn't resist asking for a tour of their rooms, and they kindly showed us the honeymoon suite, downstairs bar area, and meeting room on 2nd floor. Definitely will be back, and will share with clients!!!!!
Perfect place for a weekend brunch with a cool, historic speakeasy atmosphere. I have lived in Doylestown my entire life and finally tried this gem. Menu has diverse options without feeling too overwhelming to read. If you aren’t too stuffed from your main course, get the creme brûlée—It’s fabulous and made in-house. Another highlight was the hot chips appetizer—if you like bleu cheese, it’s heavenly. Service was a little slow, but that’s perfect for us as we enjoy each other’s company and long, experiential dates! We will be returning and it will definitely be our go-to brunch place!
My favorite restaurant in Doylestown. They serve brunch everyday. American food with a twist in flavors and presentation. Have enjoyed this gem for years and will for years to come. Service is fantastic, indoor decor is lovely and outdoor seating gives fantastic view of shops and people watching on State Street.
Was here for the first time today and it was fabulous. For our appetizer we had the bone marrow escargot followed by the avocado shrimp salad and the Oh Henry burger for our entrees. The food was excellent and service was even better. We will definitely be back.
So happy we came here! It’s a super cute spot and the food was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend trying the chicken or the egg sandwich
Saturday morning brunch was delicious. We arrived just before the rush and we're seated right away. Stated with Mimosas. My wife had the breakfast burrito and I had traditional scrabbled eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. Everything was delicious. All of the staff were helpful.
Best burger I’ve had in awhile. Perfect place to take family out. They had a few TVs, too, so definitely want to check out a game. Also, the fries slap.

I cannot remember what I ate but do not remember any complaints; service was a bit slow but it may have been around a shift change. It's worth a visit if only to see the retro design on the place.
The Hattery is a really fun, unique-looking restaurant/tavern/bar in Doylestown. The decor (check out the suitcase wall!) is something else, and you'll find a lot of variety in the different seating areas in the building from the more traditional restaurant upstairs, to a homey but sleek looking bar downstairs. Most importantly, the food and drinks are excellent. Visited on a Saturday night for dinner with some friends and there was not a single complaint to be had. Between us, we ordered the pistacio crusted salmon, seared ahi tuna, NY strip steak, and mushroom pasta - all entrees and all absolutely delicious. Service was quick and non-intrusive, there when you need your server but otherwise left to enjoy your meal and conversation. Would highly recommend The Hattery to anyone looking for a nice night out in Doylestown be it just for drinks or a full meal. I would also recommend making reservations as this is a popular spot, for good reason.
