Reviews Finney's Pub

Fun pub with a classic feel. It has a little bit of a dive bar feel, but in a cozy way. They have a pool table and a golf arcade game and a bar that takes up most of the space. They have a fridge that you can get take-away beer too which was great for us because they stocked a beer that I wanted to get for my father-in-law.

Many years ago, this was one of my favorite dives, but no more. As the years have gone by, and Doylestown has become fancy, Finney's bar has donned the moniker of Royal Grotto. The pool table remains, and it's still a good, solid bar to soak up some suds. But, it has become disconcertingly clean, and prices have risen to match the presently premium location.

Really like the ambience and the people. There's always something good playing on the jukebox.

Rich is the man! We walked in for a quick beer as we were exploring the town. We had a bottle of wine with us for our BYOB dinner later and Rich put it on ice for us! He let us keep it there as we explored and waited for our reservation. Very friendly and welcoming! Good beer suggestions too.

Best wings I've ever had. They are nice and crispy. Nice selection of flavors as well. You can get sauces or dry rubs. Wednesdays offer an all you can eat wing special! There is a good selection of craft beers as well. The only downside is that smoking is allowed in the bar, and it is cash only. There is an ATM in the bar to withdraw cash for a surcharge if needed.

I've been here s few times and had their wings and cheesesteaks. The food is top notch. I recommend their cheesesteak with provolone, sauteed onions, and mushrooms. Great service too. It is a smoking bar, so if that is a deal breaker, it's not for you. There's not always a lot of smoking going on. It doesn't bother me anyhow, and the food and service are so good you will love it here.

Best wings in Philly and probably the country. They do still allow smoking in this bar, so if this bothers you, you should not visit. The beer is always an excellent variety that changes frequently and the wings are amazing (huge, cooked right, with more than 30 sauce varieties of many different types). Very much worth a visit if you are passing through Doylestown.

Dropped by from out of town, totally a dive bar. But a 10/10 dive bar. Food - fantastic Bartender - served drinks Atmosphere - Felt welcome and cozy as 'townies' played virtual golf and pool. Only tip would be to carmalize the onions for the Perogies and it would be *chefs kiss*, maybe also buy some local handmade ones. Spicy Parm wings were other worldly.

The best wings in Pennsylvania. Fresh, never frozen. A vast array of great flavors. My favorites are the traditional hot, kicking bourbon molasses and the Cinnamon Chipotle dry rub (oh my god). I'll drive a half hour to here for wings. Only downside, smoking inside.

Great staff and a great bar! They mix their drinks very well. It's a good crowd and they have a better quality experience than their neighbors. I love to go there and jump between bars.

Great bar but a little crowded as far as the tables go. If you want to play pool you will be backed up asking other patrons to move out of way to take your shot. Second floor was really nice with live dj and darts.

One of my favorite bars in town. Love that you can still smoke inside. Great drinks and Rich is the best bartender!
