Wow. I was glad I made reservations for 4 on a Thursday lunch for my brother's birthday. They saved us the last table available. There was a company lunch just getting seated. It was great to put an order in before the large group started ordering as well. We ordered palata with chicken curry, salt
Great food, everything we’ve tried was delicious. Service is friendly but they are very very busy so it’s slow at time. When we came there was live music as well. Portion sizes are huge, we were all very full. The main dishes don’t come with rice, you have to order that separate. Their menu states t
Heard a lot of hype for this place and finally tried it. We were a party of 6 and pretty much ordered everything on the menu. I must say their appetizers were so great that we were just full with that. Dinner the pad thai style noodles and other noodles were a bit oily and lacked flavor. I will give
The best part if this place is the food. Lots of choices and very tasty. We ordered bunch of stuff and everyone of them was the best. My favorite was the Salt and Pepper Shrimp.
Food is always the best thing here.. been multiple times and always the same taste and quality. Looks like they changed the process of making spicy food by giving spicy sauce on the side so we have to mix based on the need and enjoy it. Don’t miss it if you are in that area.
As a traveler, I like to try variety but I ate here two days in a row because the only thing i wanted the next day was more. The swai is exceptional. I've never had catfish that good, the meat is light and naturally slightly sweet even though I had it fried. Perfectly battered amazing dish.
Super tasty food and nice servers. We had a bit of a misunderstanding in the beginning because of language barriers but they cleared everything out later and it was all good. They are in a plaza with a big parking lot so I've never had to worry about parking when I go. Tea leaf salad and burmese be
We ordered calamari, black beeper chicken , black pepper swai and Burmese pad Thai. Calamari was average. Black pepper swainwas good but it also had more onions than fish. But the dish tasted good.
Loved the delicious food. Excellent food options. Reminded me of Burmese cuisine in Bay Area. We had dry curry chicken, black pepper shrimp and home made fried rice. All the dishes tasted well. We will come again if we are in the area for lunch or dinner.
SF East Bay. Idk why it took us so long to eat here again when the food is so good! I’m glad we revisited & we’ll definitely be back sooner rather than later to try their other dishes. Check out pics on what we ordered!
Fantastic place :) We ordered the Black Pepper Tofu, the Palata with vegetarian curry and the Samosa salad. Everything tasted great, and service was quick and friendly. Highly recommend!
Great alternative to Burma Superstar! My family and I have gone to this place a few times and they make really good Burmese food. We typically get the garlic noodles with duck, the lamb or chicken curry, tea leaf salad, Plata and the coconut rice. We tried the salt and pepper calamari and some chick
I always get the samosa soup and tea salad as they are my favorites here. Both seemed to have just a bit changed. The service is good, restaurant is not huge and is popular so reservations are recommended. If you are 5 in your group, ask for the corner booth location, if available. You will like it
Impressive food options. First time trying Burmese food & was not disappointed! Really liked the Burmese style lamb curry, Mango salad & village catfish.
We celebrated a birthday party at Burma Burma. The service was great. Our server was there when needed. The dishes ranges from delicious to bland. The samosas were excellent. I would rank the coconut soup and eggplant as the least favorite.
My friends and myself went to Burma Burma on Saturday. We sat outside and that ambience felt really good. The service was very quick and efficient too. My guava drink was smoked in front of me and that was a cool experience. We all being vegetarians, For starters we had two dishes and both turned ou
The lamb curry was really good. There is no kids menu but there are entrees that you can order for kids which will go well with them. The coconut water was the best I have had since I moved to the US. It was a very fresh coconut. Service was good. We had a very nice server.
Exceptional execution on the tea leaf salad where richness and bitterness of nut ingredients are well balanced by the refreshing leafy vegetables. Warmth offered by the drizzled salted oil further enhanced the experience. Top notch nutritional values add to the success. Roti canai with curry is a su
