Quick Summary Really good curry spot that did everything well. Rice, protein, curry, radishes. Everything was solid. Food- 5 stars Ordered the tonkatsu and the chicken karage curry bowls. Everything was delicious. Portions were large. The macaroni salad and omelette sides were a good balance to brighten up the meal Service- 5 stars Fast casual restaurant where you order up front and get your order delivered to you. Pretty fast service Bottom Line Excellent curry spot if you're around the area. Highly recommend!

Love it. Really similar to Japanese Curry I have before, spicy with sweet. Both Tonkatsu and Chicken Karaage taste good, crispy and crunchy. I also like the thickness of Pork Cutlet.

We reached early, so we had ample choice for seating. The place is clean, well lit and inviting. We went over the ordering counter and gave our orders. Our order taker was friendly and efficient and got our orders in quickly. Within a few minutes of seating ourselves our drinks and food was served. Huge portions was the first thing that came to our mind! For appetizers we shared the Chicken Katsu Sando and the Curry Splash Ballers that we ordered medium spicy and we found the spice level just perfect!! We all loved both the appetizers that we shared. For the drink, I ordered the Oolong Tea, a tad sweet, but I loved it... thanks to my sweet tooth. Others took the Jasmine tea and they too seemed to have liked it. I had the Chicken Katsu Curry Plate while others in the group ordered the Tonkatsu Curry And Ya Ki Chicken Curry plate and we all loved what we ordered! Beware of the spice levels though that you need to choose when ordering. Our group found mild to be not spicy enough. But the medium was just right for most of us. None of us dared to go higher to Spicy or the "Bomb" We all left happy after having a great meal which also attractively priced for the portion and quality of the food that they serve! Some tips 1. Remember they serve a free drink with each curry plate for lunch. So choose one when ordering. 2. Do not forget to get your cutlery and water while you seat yourself from the side counter. There are none at the tables and no one will serve them. 3. Portions are huge, so be ready to take some back. They do give you sturdy boxes for taking leftovers home.

I ordered the tonkatsu curry + chicken karrage. - Tonkatsu curry was good: it was filling at a reasonable price and had a nice kick of spice at medium spicy level. - Chicken Karrage was a bit underwhelming: a good amount of it was breading and the meat felt a bit weird and didn't feel like your standard white chicken meat.

Awesome place for curry. Came on a weeknight and ordered stewed beef ribs curry (medium), ya-ki chicken curry (mild) and chicken katsu curry (medium). Generous portions and very tasty. The medium was fairly spicy so next time I’d get mild to enjoy it more. The beef ribs are limited to 10/day so was happy to try it - most pieces were quiet tender but a few were dry. The ya-ki chicken and katsu were both very tasty. I really liked the pickled radishes and shredded cabbage - good balance with the curry and rice. We all finished our dishes with nothing left to take home! Service was pleasant and decor was modern and clean. Will definitely return to try their other dishes like the katsu sando, splash ballers and gyudon.

Got the pork katsu and it was crunchy and tender. The curry was flavorful and not overly sweet or salty. It took a little while even though it wasn't busy. Overall, this is a pretty solid spot. More of a food court vibe than a restaurant one.

Finally, a good Japanese curry place with flavor near me! Usually when we get curry from restaurants, it is pretty bland. Not this place! They really deliver on the flavor. When we make it at home (from the box), we add heat to it for extra flavor. Here, the mild is sooo good, I don't even need the extra spices. The yaki chicken is dark meat (the only kind worth eating) and it's seasoned and grilled so well that it has a full flavor profile on its own. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Came for lunch with a friend and wanted Japanese Curry. Food came out fast and service was OK (considered it's a quick-serve restaurant), but I wouldn't say it's authentic Japanese curry. We ordered the Katsu Curry with boiled egg and Ya-Ki Chicken Curry with Potato Croquette, both medium spicy, but it's got way more spice than Japanese curry does and more like Indian curry (but thick). The yakitori chicken was pretty good, but the katsu was more like Taiwanese deep fried pork chop than Japanese Katsu. All in all, it's good food; just don't treat it as Japanese curry.

One of my favorite places to go to on weekends. I love the Chicken Katsu Curry. I do want to bring it to the managements attention, sometimes the Curry tastes like plastic/medicine I’m not sure what it is but please look into it, most of the time the Curry is 10/10... I guess it’s on whoever making it that day? UPDATE 01/15/21: They fixed the curry!! It tastes amazing once again!! Keep it up you guys! 💯👍🏽🙏🏽 🍛

They give you so much Curry sauce. I totally want to take some home! Love the fish balls. Medium spicy is yummy with a lil kick to it.

We ordered non-curry rice bowl beef, tonkatsu cuury and ribeye curry. Food flavor is very good to our taste. We'll surely come back here. 🤪

Plenty of parking but space is small and may have to park further. Japanese style curry, udon, donburis and small plates. Self seating. Buy, pay, take a number and then pick a seat. Food is served afterwards. Soda and beer available but are sold in cans and bottles. Coke and Sprite available. Less than 10 minutes average to get food. Medium is actuality spicy.

This is one of my go-to places in Dublin. Delicious and authentic. Sushi may be the stereotype, but curry is the real everyman Japanese lunch. This place reminds me of food I enjoyed in Japan, and they get all the little touches right. I also love that they have four spice levels of the curry, from mild to VERY spicy. I like the 3rd level, and they always hit the same mark consistently. I have tried their highest spice level, and though I really like spicy food, this one made me sweat. Don't be too much of a purist to try the spam musubi--yes, that's more Hawaii than Japan, but like the curry, they get it right.

Japanese curry although I would say they are more on the spicy side rather than sweet. You do have a choice of spiciness and start with mild if you are not too brave. We only tried pork and they were good.

My new best Japanese Curry joint in the east bay. Really pleasant surprise for me. After hours sitting in take out box, the tonkasu is still crispy and the coating easily soaks up the complex curry thats not too thick or runny. Gonna go back and try other dishes soon.
