e ordered chicken Manchurian, boneless chicken biryani, and naan. Overall, the food offered good value for money. The taste was average—no complaints, but it didn't particularly impress.
The chicken Manchurian, however, had an unusual touch of mustard seeds in it.
Great food, tasty and fresh. We tried tandoori, naan, mutton curry and biryani. All dishes are cooked well and tastes great. Best place for Indian cuisine in Bay Area.
I am a big fan of Mutton Biryani. Love the flavor and the spices never gave me stomach burning sensation. Mixed tandoori platter is must try here.Masala flavors are really good and different than others restaurants. I had Veg-Manchurian after many years and it was delicious. I haven't seen this item in most of the Bay-Area restaurants. Chicken 65 tastes very good.Prashanth and Lavanya both are very friendly and humble with the customers.
Ordered a Family Pack Chicken Dum Biryani. Pleasantly surprised to see that it came with a 7-Up, Gulab Jamun(s) and a small pack of Chilly chicken. The quality and taste of everything was great.
Guessing we got the extras for a first time order(?) Not sure if this was all a part of the Family Pack Deal. Great experience. Food was good. Will order from Biryani Bistro again and will recommend to anyone to give it a try. 👍🏼
We had a birthday party and tried the Catering from Biryani Bistro.. food was very tasty. Alll the guests liked the food, chilli baby corn and veg pakoras are must try. Also the food quantity was sufficient. The owner of the place is very humble and helpful. I would highly recommend this place.
Went for dinner and liked their food very much. Ordered and Apollo fish for appetizer and it was the best dish of the night that I tasted. I would call their food very spicy and their saag paneer wasn't great either. However their Andhra chicken curry and special tasted very delicious. The person at bill counter was very friendly and even offered one item from our bill for free since it was Valentine's day.
Owners of the place are really polite, Food quality and taste in general are really good. If at all there’s an odd issue with food, they go out of their way to fix it.
Don’t go by the negative reviews with wait times , every restaurant has an odd day and an odd item where it may be delayed ; no restaurant was ever able to run without some odd delays.
Have some realistic expectations folks.
Usually this is my go-to place for biriyani's. During my recent visit, I was told to try Indo-Chinese items as they have a new chef specialized in these items. I tried schezwan fried rice, noodles and gobi manchuria. it's very good and my kids loved it. Better than other close by restaurants around my area. I would highly recommend to try items by this new chef.
Went here with a friend on a Saturday evening after a round of golf and this place actually beat my expectations! There isn't a ton of seating which is a downside but it wasn't crowded at all when we got there.
I got the szechuan egg noodles and we also got a chili paneer to share. A tad bit spicy but real mouthwatering flavors. Cooked fresh and hot and of high quality. For the price, the quantity is plentiful - in fact I had to take part of it to go. The manager was nice enough to offer us complimentary water bottles too.
It's located in a nice complex with other spots like boba bliss, which was convenient to grab after and wash it all down.
The food is very good here for the price. But I felt the place s very noisy. No coordination among the people who work. But I really enjoyed the Apollo fish and biryani. I also ordered the gongura paneer which I didn’t enjoy much. In my earlier visit I tried the gongura mutton and that was really good.
We ordered two items. Biryani and Paneer Pasand, Biryani was more like something that you make at home. Didn't' feel like authentic or flavor rich. Bur Paneer Pasand was very good. We will go again for this curry but not for Biryani.
Went with a friend for dine-in. We both ordered the chicken dum biryani and enjoyed the meal. We both liked that the food was spicy and not watered down.
The food was enjoyable and the service was friendly enough. We have been here multiple times and will probably be back again.
Friendly service and a great value (5% cash discount for vegetable combo lunch comes out to $8.25 after tax). Saag paneer was watery, but the paneer butter masala was better with strong flavors. Naan tasted like it was microwaved, but papadum was good. Raita was nice and thick. Good place for take-out. Overall, no complaints for the price and service.
6/19/18 Update: Saag paneer still watery, but the Kofta Halal is excellent - the curry is thick, with just the right amount of spice. It may take a while for them to prepare your food, so don't be in a hurry when you come here. Papadum is good, but I'd just have the rice over the naan. Given the cleanliness and the value for their lunches, I'm upgrading Biryani Bowl to 4-stars.
i am big fan of those people Biryani and chicken items. always made fresh biryani! not like others restaurants jus made in a morning in a morning and reheat and serve.staff is nice and service is awesome.
Very friendly family owned. Food was prepared quickly, good quantities. Atmosphere is simple but fine for a casual dinner.
