Great dining experience! Met here for dinner with friends and ate outside. Service was fantastic and our meals were even better. Will definitely return. Valet parking for $2 also a nice plus.

So much potential!. Let me say my first dining experience was extreme. Everyone in our party of 10 tasted all the different entrees we ordered. Veal, Tilapia and Walleye were spot on. Tastiest walleye and tilapia preparations I've ever had anywhere!!!! Delicious and fresh house salad with a lovely and just the right amount dressing. Water and drink refills were very slow but food was served very timely. Overall service was good. Hostess was upbeat and friendly. Keep her! Biggest gripe about restaurants today. Spend all that money building your place and then hire a snotty buzzkill to ruin your customers whole take on your place right from the start. Back to the food, Bbq Ribs were aweful! Charred til they were hard, not the crispy melt in your mouth texture we long for. Calamari had a beautiful presentation but was inedible. It was so tough and hard that after repeated chewing, my son and I gave up and spit them out. Did we complain about 2 rib dinners and the calamari appetizer? No. I have 35 years in the restaurant industry. I don't send food back. Ever. Yes I will return to Oscars for the fish and veal as they were so outstanding!!!
Server Dress. No complaints about the food at Oscars. Someone at our table will always get the walleye and go home happy.
Why would a white linen tablecloth restaurant have the female servers wear shorts? And short shorts at that.
Good for lunch. I've never visited at dinner but this place is pretty good for lunch. I and my co-workers are pretty loyal to this place, and love to eat on the patio during good weather. The daily specials are generally the best, and for good prices! Only 1 bad experience here and the manager said it was due to new staff in the kitchen training, tisk-tisk, don't train staff during a lunch rush.
Great Lunch Spot!. The Chicken and Blue Cheese Salad is sooo good.
Local Gem. Try the veal scallopine or the walleye. Both are consistently great. I like the intimacy of the dining room when I'm on date night with my husband and love the patio when we meet friends in the summer.Never disappointed!
We definitely came on an off night (the start of restaurant week), so things were a bit hectic. However, Nick who is the GM was super awesome at helping us out with an issue we had. We've only ever heard great things about Oscar's and Nick is definitely a great example of the reason why. We look forward to dining there again!

Oh so wonderfully good!! Service was nice and friendly. Place felt safely spaced and required face masks & ser ers wore them properly. The food was amazing!! The calamari was perfect texture and great Thai flavor, the Walleye with crab sauce so light and decadent at the same time and the scalloped potatoe& turnips- yum! We shared dinners so I got to have the filet too- high quality for sure, cooked perfectly and not over seasoned- and the creme Brule also did not disappoint! Such a wonderful 1st time here!

After a long day at work, I suggested to my husband we go out to dinner...and I wanted to go to Oscars to have my favorite Crispy Salmon dish. He never minds that suggestion as his favorite dish is the scrumptious sauteed walleye with crab sauce! My sister joined us that evening too. Perusing the menu, I asked our excellent server, Nicholas, about the Sea Scallops offering as I hadn't noticed it before. He said that the Sea Scallops with roasted cauliflower mash, caper-golden raisin brown butter, green beans and toasted almonds was very popular. He said that the chef who created the recipe was the one in the kitchen that evening and if ever I was going to order it, tonight was the night. And I told Nicholas: "Sold!" The Sea Scallops dinner at Oscar's is absolutely spectacular! My husband and my sister agreed with me that it is amazing. So now I have a new quandary: Salmon? Sea Scallops? Either way you can't go wrong...just depends on what you feel like that evening! Oscars has long been a favorite of ours. The host staff is always friendly and accommodating and we always have very nice wait staff, the management must hire and train well. Oscar's is a well managed, long standing tradition in Dublin, OH with wonderful menu offerings and a great wine list. And if the weather allows, the patio is a great place to dine!
Went here for Restaurant Week for the first time. Both the food and service was excellent even though they were very busy. I had the Sticky, Cauliflower which was cooked very well, the Veal Scallopine that was well seasoned, and the Blueberry Bread Pudding. Small place, but highly recommended. I will be back.
Excellent dinner. Nice wine selection. Beats out NAPA and the other poser wine centric restaurants the fake folks of Dublin frequent.
Outstanding scene for tasty quality meals. Service is always timely even when they have a full house. The bill was fair I would say.
