This place has great food and I’ve been coming here for years. But it’s like a 50/50 shot that I’m even able to eat here. Every time I show up ,even if I call ahead and make sure they’re open that day, there is a good chance that they’re closed anyways. Closing early, family party, rented for birthday party, and on and on. Again I wish nothing more than to support this place and enjoy the food because i find it incredible but it gets incredibly frustrating when every other time I try to go they aren’t open.

We Googled restaurants near DuBois, as we were traveling on Interstate 80. We decided to go to Fat Kid's Sports Bar. You won't be disappointed if you do the same!!! It was excellent! We are eating low carb, but wanted cheese steaks. My husband ordered the cheese steak minus the bun. It arrived in a bowl and it did have some spicy heat to it. But he loved it! I had the cheese steak salad minus the peppers. It was excellent! The meat was nice and thin, just the way I like it. The staff was excellent and the place was very clean. So if you are traveling along I-80 and trying to find a place to eat, you just found it!

Nice seeing the place doing business again hoping they start doing full hrs again but the Owner Chuck is dealing with a personal medical issue and is having his very competent family members take control of the days he is open. And they do such a great job. But things just are not the same with out him yelling at me for going in the kitchen lol. I miss seeing him there. But I Also have my own medical issues I'm dealing with that's why I haven't been posting much. But I'm hoping they can find what's wrong. Gotta keep a positive attitude.

Best wings in town, always super flavorful and that perfect crispiness, never soggy or fatty. Gold n' tangy are fantastic.
If you like mushrooms their fried portobellos are AMAZING, best anywhere around. Cheesesteaks are tasty, never a disappointment. I order mine without the hot peppers, but if you like spicy as well as flavor, I would definitely recommend.
Delivery gas always been timely for me also! Never waiting any longer than they tell me itll be.

Fat Kid's Sports Bar always seems to be extremely busy mostly with call in orders. In the 45 minutes we were there the phone never stopped ringing. The bartender was a little slow but she was answering the phone a lot. The cheesesteak was delicious but I thought the roll could be hollowed out some. Go with bottled beer because the draft isn't the coldest.

Absolutely love their steak sandwich yum yum yum. To top it off they have the best that I have found around, homemade chips which are amazing as well!!! Great service and food is quick. Hands down the best cheese steak in town! Normally at least 1 good craft beer on tap as well.If you want a beautiful cheese steak this is the place. Also ask for it toasted takes it to the next level!!!!

I have to say their cheese steak sub is one of the best i've had in a long time. The place is neat and clean and the bartenders are very nice to you also. If you are in the mood for a good cheese steak sub and want a good one this is the place to go. I will be back again no doubt about it.
