Food was hot and delicious. I loved the healthy option of lettuce leaves instead of a bun for my burger. I chose Cole slaw for my side and it was sweet and crunchy just the way I like it. It also was not very crowded so were able to spread out. The atmosphere was inviting as well with the brick walls, wood floors and large pane windows.
This restaurant was a great find, with a large variety of on-tap brews and with unique, delicious burgers! Highly recommend the blackberry sour 🍻
This place is amazing regardless of what Margaret Peterson’s review states. Looks like her review history is based on burritos, different restaurants specialize in different tastes but still need to have something for everyone to enjoy. Variety. Keep up the great work Barrel House and hopefully Margaret will give you another chance.
This place is awesome, food was great and large portions. We were in and out within an hour! Fast service!
I travel often on business and loved the Barrel House in downtown Davenport and saddened that it is closed. I was ecstatic to find one open in Dubuque and I could get my Firecracker shrimp taco fix. I ordered the wings first as a appetizer. Food was good but not great but what dropped the review to 4 stars is the tacos came out first. 5 minutes later the wings showed up. Apparently they have problems timing appetizers and main courses. I would definetly dine here again and they have a great craft beer selection. Definitely missing my Dubuque Star Big Muddy Red...the finest beer ever brewed in the state of Iowa
Amazing place to eat. Burgers are to die for and the fish and chips are amazing! Best service ever.... Napkin are also high quality, got to have high quality napkins!!
We got 4 pc chicken tenders, enchiladas, and a 2AM burger, and all of it was amazing! We will be stopping here again any time we pass through!
Wow, what a great place! The service was great the beers were good and the food was amazing. We found this place on accident but we will be back for sure. My wife really liked the watermelon margaritas, and the draft choices were good too.
