Good food, please clean. Dined at the Great Dragon today. food was good and I believe 2nd best Chinese in Dubuque. .Food was hot, fresh and plentiful. Restaurant was dirty and should be cleaned, start with the soda machine. Counter women very nice ,dumplings very good.

Simply Remarkable.. Great Dragon is the best Chinese food that you will find in the Tri-State Area. I have tried many different Chinese buffets, but the Central Ave. location is outstanding. Their cooking turns the food into more like a delicacy than anything else. Great Dragon is the best Chinese you will find around here, House of China and Yen Ching are also worth trying, but this place takes the cake.
So good!! Delivery was fast and food was sooo yummy! Beef and broc was perfect and steamed dumplings were amazing!! The sauce was the best ever! I'll def be ordering from here again!
Good Chinese, very economical. The restaurant isn't much to look at, but who cares? They serve large portions of good quality chinese food.
Great food, value price. If you haven't tried Great Dragon yet and you're a fan of Chinese food, you owe it to yourself to give them a try. My particular favorite is the lunch buffet which features modest variety but good quality food at a bargain price. Don't want to do the buffet? They feature a full menu and are open to tweaking your order to suit your taste. Nice people, quick service and convenient location make Great Dragon a fantastic choice in Dubuque.
Excellent weekday lunch buffet. The food is always hot, tasty, and ample. Best to go on a Thursday or Friday during the lunch hour. Be aware there is limited seating. Friendly and efficient staff. Family owned. Recommended.

Throughout the years of eating and dining here, I have never been disappointed. The consistency has remained. Same owner and cooks, who have always worked hard. The taste of the food takes me back to a place where I ate buffet with my grandma.

I had ordered door dash last night and let me say this the food is freshly made. Back from where I’m from, it’s frozen and old. This place by far has the best Chinese food in Iowa. I’m so in love. Great Dragon makes sure that you are full in portions that they deliver. I couldn’t ask for a better Chinese place than this. Mind you I have only lived in Iowa for a month.
