In addition to the fabulous selection of fresh, fresh seafood, The staff here are great at helping you prepare whatever you need. I was assembling a seafood boil for 4 and they helped me determine the right amount clams, shrimp, mussels, crab and sausage. Their prepared dips, salads and desserts are also worth the visit. Outstanding!

Our go-to for fresh seafood and steamed blue crabs while on vacation... always a good selection of local fish and shrimp, local pies and home-mades like tartar sauce and more in the coolers. If in Duck check 'em out!
Picked up a bushel of crabs, shrimp, and raw oysters, all were delicious! Order was ready on time and the prices were pretty reasonable. They’ll steam anything for you and season it for you for a $2 fee. They also have supplies for picking crabs, hammers, paper for covering tables, crackers, butter, etc. which made it super easy to take everything back to our rental and dig in
Note: you will have to shuck the oysters yourself
We stopped here because we had leftovers at home but needed a little bit of something more. They have a decent variety of homemade stuff. It's better for big groups though because the helpings are huge!
We got the she crab soup which was very tasty but a little too thin in my opinion. I don't like soups that are the consistency of water!
That did have this really delicious crab bread pie. Basically crab meat in a bread bowl that needs to be baked! I wish I could've tried that, but I hate wasting food!

Fresh carryout seafood located in the heart of Duck. We always get steamed shrimp and a key lime pie for dessert to take back to the house while we're walking around the sound boardwalk. They offer all the regular offerings a seafood carryout place does including the famous North Carolina crab pot boils.
Dockside N Duck really saved us. We had been out crabbing all morning and only caught a few viable to steam. After checking in with multiple Duck/Corolla locations, we finally got in contact with Dockside N Duck. They had a bushel of crabs ready for us and when came down right away to pick them up. We also got lucky with a fresh catch of mussels, which turned out great. Highly recommend, great crabs and other seafood for good prices.
The best boil in Duck! This is the third place we have tried during our last two visits to Duck and by far the best. We ordered twice during the week because it was so good. Quality products and a great value for the money. Plus you can repurpose the pot!
This is the only place we go to every single time we go to OBX. Their crab cakes are fantastic! All seafood is super fresh and their cocktail sauce is really good. Always super helpful too. Don’t be afraid to ask questions.
This is a great place to get a bit of seafood and their seafood boil kits are extremely good. They put everything in a pot and you steam it yourself at home. The simple directions are nearly foolproof. Highly recommend!
This place is amazing. Found it 3 years ago and on our yearly vacations we go there for their fresh seafood to make our boil. This trip we tried there shrimp salad and OMG 😲 😋 the best ever. Going back up today to get more. Their crab dip is phenomenal as well as their key lime pies. You can't go wrong with this place for your seafood needs.

Prices are incredible compared to our NJ prices. My father was in a coma after the oysters, shrimp, tuna and blue claws.
We really needed seafood for dinner but got stuck in traffic we didn't expect at all. These fine people waited until 10 after 6 to sell us some fish when they clearly wanted to go home for.the day. Shrimp and tuna was super fresh and fairly priced. We bought seafood from them 4 times the week we were there. Thanks!
Got all the fixings for a low country boil for our group of 18 and mahi and shrimp for other dinners. Fresh and delicious and the staff was so nice!
Unbelievable that people are giving bad stars because of not wearing a mask🤦🏻♀️ This place is absolutely amazing, and mask or not I will return every single year. The she crab soup is absolutely perfect, I have had so many and never have I tasted such amazing she crab soup. Food was clean, everything about this place screams perfection. Don’t miss out on this place because of a mask stance, it is truly the gem of OBX. Can not wait to return!! Amazing customer service by the way! They are so friendly and accommodating!

We enjoyed a delicious feast of fresh crabs, shrimp, and scallops from this friendly place in September 2020. They had our crab legs steamed on time for our scheduled pickup and we sauteed the scallops and shrimp at our rental house. We also appreciated the attitude and spirit of the employees.
