Very friendly staff and laid back. Cafeteria style ordering but they bring the food to you. Great beer selection. They have some of the best nachos around!! Try them, your choice of meat. Great sandwiches also...I have the Cuban Pork..fantastic! You're not at Arby's so be prepared to pay more...but well worth it.
I can't say enough good things about the ownership. Family friendly environment with a general love for musicians. Food is really quite good and I'm happy to say I haven't had a bad meal yet (good luck finishing even a small serving of nachos!) Sir Ben's has a fantastic selection of beer and is host to many special beer events providing a chance to taste very limited edition brews.
Spinach Artichoke Dip was amazing--creamy and great flavor with soft, warm, well seasoned bread drizzled with olive oil. Our toasted sandwich had pork tips, blue cheese, caramelized onions, mushrooms and a beer mustard and was delicious. Order at the bar where you'll find a great list of over 12 beer options with local breweries represented. Staff was helpful and our order came quick during a Friday lunch. The decor is fun and it's a friendly atmosphere. Games are available to play while you wait or while you enjoy your pint. We're going to make it a point to come back here on our next trip to Duluth!
The atmosphere is so relaxing, nothing but good vibes. The food is top notch, especially the roasted squash soup, I can't stop raving about it. A diverse menu, we had 6 people eating different items from the tipsy pig, the burrito, to the portabello melt, squash soup and spinach and artichoke dip. Everything was mouth wateringly delicious - the best part of it all is the prices! I will be back, as often as I can!
A favorite for years, but kicked up several notches with Josh at the helm. Great service, great music, more greats for the draft beer selection, location, view, food. Lovely atmosphere, day or night.

You can't go wrong when eating at Sir Bens. The food has always been delicious. Usually order the daily special and am never disappointed. They are also very helpful in describing the different types of beers they have. The staff has always been kind, joyful, and helpful. Don't hesitate to get a meal here. It is always great.
the gentleman who waited on us was excellent and very helpful made the most wonderful margarita i have ever had he used to make them for his grandmother if we werent going other places i would have ordered another.. food was excellent loved the place
Great spot a little more off the beaten path that has delicious foods and great bar offerings. We loved our dinner experience! Be aware that you order your food and drinks at the counter and they bring it to you.
Spectacular food and great service in a quaint antique gas station building with a view of the lake, available outdoor seating and cool live music. What else could anyone possibly ask for?
Great food and friendly service! This was a last minute decision to try and everyone in our 11 person group left happy. The chicken bacon artichoke sandwich was amazing and the nachos were huge! Don't miss this place!!

Always, always a great experience. Everything about Sir Ben's is unique and every visit inspires the next! Sandwiches are eyes-roll-to-back-of-your-skull-bliss delicious. That smoked acorn squash soup? Mine! All mine! The atmosphere, inside and outside, is intimate, welcoming and engaging. If you have to wait, do it. It's no cliche that it's worth the wait!

Discovered this place last year and fell in love. No matter how simple a sandwich may be, there's something magical about the ones here at Sir Benedict's.
The food is scrumptious, the staff are outgoing and knowledgeable. I have yet to be disappointed.
They have now switched to counter ordering, with food delivered to your table thereafter. Although different than last year, it's still a smooth process and I can't wait to return.
My friend and I both enjoyed our food (although I can't remember what they got). I had the Sir Pesto last time, and this time made a hybrid of that with the Bruce. It was fantastic. We also got the apple pie and some hard cider. The pie filling was a little cinnamon forward but we still finished it lol.

Great lunch stop on way up north shore. Sandwiches and salads are awesome. Great pub pretzel. Local beer list has everything you’d want. Staff was friendly and helpful even though it was busy. Partial views of lake and decent outdoor dining. Definitely recommend.
On the recommendation of our hotel and after a long day of driving, we were looking for a local place with drinks and good food. Boy did Sir Ben's not disappoint. We had the Reuben and Cuban. Both had their own unique twist to the typical. Both were excellent tasting and delicious. I highly recommend. For starters we had the large German pretzel which was probably one of the soft dough, not too salty pretzels we've ever had. To top it off, beer choices and drinks were on point as well.
Perfectly combination between a classic place and good food. The staff was so nice!
