Soul Good Vegan Cafe has sadly closed as of December 2020. The location has since turned into another vegan restaurant, unrelated to the first, that similarly serves awesome vegan food from healthy to soul! The food is awesome and the owners are always around and are super cool. Here’s their menu with hours and contact info.

I’m the only vegan in my family but my whole family loves this place. If you want soul food cooking that taste like it’s straight out of grandma’s kitchen this place is for you! I always order seconds.

This place is absolutely fantastic! Vegan soul food done just like I remember. The greens and cornbread alone would've made a great meal for me and were seasoned perfectly. Quaint little space that feels like home. Great family run business that I'm proud to support. Not just good food, but food that's good for the body and soul which is something our community needs desperately. Thank you so much for a great dining experience, I am looking forward to dining with you again.

Great vegan food. They didn't have the jackfruit ready so if that's your focus is call ahead to make sure it's prepare. Most if the menu is soy based btw. The greens were dynamic and so was the mac and cheese. You'll love it trust me.

Great food! We're not vegan but will be back for the food and lovely atmosphere. The chickpeas were full of flavor and cooked to just the right tenderness. The rice was cooked perfectly, not to dry and a nice mild flavor. The kale was spicy and a bit too salty but yummy. The cornbread was moist but not cake like, some of the best cornbread I've ever had. The plaintains we're also really delicious and not overly sweet or greasy. The jackfruit had a good barbecue sauce on it and tasted a lot like be barbecue to me. There was an African theme decor. You can eat outside too. They have some interesting sodas and vegan cupcakes and cookies and pie.

Random find on our way into Raleigh. Concur isn't from I-40. Relaxed atmosphere. Great food! We loved everything we tried. Best house salad I've had in a bit, tasty mock jerk chicken -& the heavenly plantains! So good I had to get some to go.

Typically the two words soul and vegan don't go well in the same sentence... But ironically at this restaurant vegan soul food is actually very delicious. I was a bit skeptical to try this new concoction but it works! The food is great and taste like authentic soul food your grandmother used to make. The staff was extremely friendly; Dion went above and beyond to perform her duties as a waitress / hostess. This place is definitely worth a try

Souly Vegan serves up a mean plate of Jackfruit BBQ. It has a little bite, so be warned. The Mac and Cheese is the best I've had. It should not be missed. The greens we're tasty as was the cornbread. Others in my party had the spicy chickpea and candied yams and plaintains as sides and enjoyed all of it. My only critique would be that the service was a little slow. To be fair there was only one person working the front of the house - greeting, seating and taking orders. They could use a hand there and a little updating of the physical space. It's a bit like Cosmic Cantina, you come for the food, not the decor.
