The outside is deceiving. Though it offers the usual menu, the food is astounding. The hot and sour soup was amazing, the crab Rangoon was freshly made, the rice was sticky, not dry, and the sauces were spectacular. I'm so glad to have found this little gem.
This place is an absolute gem! The food is fantastic! Krav rangoons are to die for delicious! Run by a family who cooks authentic food. My husband and I litterally drove 2 hours just to eat here haha, so don't be fooled by the exterior!
Nothing fancy. Straight forward Chinese food. Quick, hospitable service. Reasonable prices. I'm a relatively frequent guest and I've never had a bad experience.
I enjoyed Hunan under the previous owner, but enjoy it even more now. The new owners are so kind and the new menu has some awesome items. If you like some kick, try the Singapore Chow Mein Fun.
This is our go-to place for Chinese. I just love it. It is quaint, with really good food. Nothing beats the Chinese restaurants from the Chicago area, where I am from, but in the Northwoods this is the best for me.
