Review Pine Gables Supper Club - Eagle River

My wife and I finally tried a meal at this restaurant on 9-3-20. We're glad we did. Their reservation process was useful to control capacity. It also ensured that we ate at the time we wanted to. The newly remodled restaurant is beautiful and the noise level inside is very tolerable. The drink I had "on the rocks" at the bar was skimpy at best for the price, but this was our only disappointment. The waitstaff were pleasant, polite and helpful without being overly attentive. We both had weinerschnitzel with spaetzel and red cabbage. Our meals were plentiful, delicious and reasonably priced. We truly enjoyed our experience and highly recommend this supper club

We came not knowing what to expect after a lengthy remodeling and local gossip. Pine Gables indeed has meticulous attention to detail, lovingly uniform logs as the walls perfectly painted warm brick red, illuminated by fireplaces in each room, and tealights. The tables are spaced comfortably around the L-shaped room in cosy nooks giving room for conversations to be heard across your own table. The sound is absorbed by the Northwoods somewhat industrial carpet emphasising warm, "snowmobile here" vibes. The bathroom's rich color palette, world bronze hardware and warm wood tones is enviable. The bartender gentleman is an industry treasure, welcoming patrons, inquiring about their needs, anticipating at just the right moment and friendly. His gentle inquire about your experience is sure command repeat patrons to for him alone. Our server Piper was present and attentive. She made recommendations about the chef's specialties and made clear preparations as to meet our dietary needs. She took exceptional care of us. Our lunch was instagram-worthy, although we imagine that's not common practice here. You'll just have to try for yourself! The sandwiches are large, shiny bread and delicious. My chicken cobb salad was very good, the housemade creamy balsamic dressing is divine! Bacon and croutons came on the side with ease. We heard from friends the fries could use a leg up. The french onion soup smelled amazing and was enjoyed. The price for lunch was reasonable and felt really good to want to come back again.

This past Wednesday I an my family had a chance to finally dine at Pine Gables. Everything was so fantastic..from the ambiance, the renovations are beautiful, very helpful staff, the food..the French Onion Soup was the best we have ever had. My Sister and her husband thought they had the best French Onion Soup in Hawaii but.they were floored by how good it was here. If you have time you must go to this restaurant, you won't be disappointed. I can't wait to come back!

Very Very expensive, I hope they do well after the tourists leave. My wife and I had planned on eating dinner, but the pricing forced us to move on. We did have a drink and then left!

First time diners here and we were not disappointed! If you are concerned about COVID as we are, this place has it down pat. All staff were masked and gloved. Seating is socially distanced very well and they limit the number of diners thru use of reservations. The food was outstanding! We made a reservation for two nights from now before we left! Highly recommend!

This restaurant was absolutely fantastic!!! The food was to die for I had the most perfectly cooked ribeye that I've ever had & believe me I've tried many other restaurants!! My fiance had the best ever oysters Rockefeller & his scallop dish was delicious too! Our server Piper was the sweetest she was so attentive & right on top of things in fact the entire staff was frickin amazing. I would definitely recommend eating here. If you don't live near by it's ABSOLUTELY worth the drive I know for sure we're definitely going back!!!

Nice atmosphere. Beef tips and noodles were burned and salty tasting. Was with a larger party, so I did not complain. Kinda expensive, but I expected that at a restaurant as nice as this.
