Great food and atmosphere, the waitress Xio was very attentive and friendly. Rossy was great too going around making sure everyone was doing ok.
$12 lunch! They took a little longer that I thought, but once my food arrived everything was delicious, the soup (chupe de pescado was amazing.
So I might be a bit biased because I'm half Ecuadorian, but I have to leave a little love for this establishment. The other half is Puerto Rican, but my mother who is the Ecuadorian one, has been living in Puerto Rico longer than I have been alive, so I'm more in tune with my Puerto Rican side becau
The food at the restaurant was really good… good service and good ambience. The waitress karlita was very attentive and very quick to get what we asked for! Def gotta come back
Thanks God...literally.... that this little piece of tasty elegance is an escape from a neighborhood of brick and concrete not updated since the 70s. Such a delight to see the quaint casual yet elegant decor. The deeeeeelishous authentic foods are served by kind and casual wait staff. Such a grea
Great food. I enjoyed the mixed ceviche the soup and the steak. The food was superb my only complaint is they brought the main course and all appetizers at the same time..I felt overwhelmed and did not enjoy the food as we should have.. They have live music.
We are 3 Canadian tourists who just had a fantastic meal at La Kuchara. We have never had Ecuadorian food before but I can ensure you it won't be the last time. Our waitress Anita was amazing and made the meal that much more enjoyable! Just a wonderful experience on all fronts.
I has a wonderful time at la Kuchara. I was my First time ordering the shrimp Ceviche and it was amazing one Of the best in the city. Anita and Andrea were my servers they were pretty attentive and were on top on my tables. I went on a Friday and it was a great surprise to find out there were a spec
Never disappoints. I live in Long Island now and don’t have Ecuadorian food near me but when I tell the trip is worth it. Their encebollado is hands down the closest to home flavor, the caldo de bola was great too I was disappointed to find Olives but that’s my personal preference.
La Kuchara served up a great authentic taste to my beloved Ecuadorian cusine. None beter than my mom's but very close. All staff was friendly and accomadating. Anita our waitress made us feel at home and patient with my dislike of cilantro 🙂 Try the Quaker out of this world. We will be back.
The fried Pardo/red snapper was delicious and fresh. The sangria was delicious as well, perfect (not too strong). It was hard to get the attention of the waitress for another drink,so I just gave up.
