We are regulars at Ed's Roost.  Hands down, the best corned beef hash in Rhode Island.   They have some interesting breakfast specials, as well as a lunch menu.  Staff is always friendly. It's small, but popular.  A favorite of the locals, right in the heart of Main Street.

My family LOVES Ed's Roost. It is a requirement to go at least once a week. The home fries are amazing, and the hash is heaven sent. The waitstaff is welcoming and engaging, they always make us feel at home. John, the owner, once reserved half the tables in the restaurant because I called and said my family was coming. This was a lovey gesture which I'm sure was an inconvenience to them since the venue is small. WE LOVE IT!!!

Best Restaurant I have ever been to. Ed's Roost serves breakfast and lunch and the best food on main st, I should know I'm a regular there. It is an escape from the world and you can actually sit down and have a conversation with friends and family. If you are ever on main st in East Greenwhich Rhode Island I suggest you make this one of you destinations.

Just went back here after a long time. Their breakfast was great! My normal spot is skimping on portion size. This place does not. Lots of food. Great quality and cooked to perfection. The corned beef hash is great and the standard breakfast was spot on.

The waitress here is amazing and perfectly attentive (notices your tea/coffee levels even when it’s busy and is just a generally sweet woman) I get the corned beef hash Benedict every time. Their corned beef hash is definitely not canned. Different but great.

What you see is what you get here . It's a very small spot, small menu , and small staff . But they have the essentials . They have hot food , hot coffee , and a seat for you when you walk in. The food was good , I had the hash and eggs ( which is what I was told to go there for ) . I wouldn't call it hash , it was like shredded corn beef , but still very delicious on top of some home fries . So it may look deceiving when you walk in but you won't leave disappointed.

Fantastic breakfast spot. The corned beef hash lived up to the hype. Although they were quite busy they managed to squeeze a couple tables together for my family of five which was very kind. My kids say the pancakes are a ten out of ten. Fast, reasonably priced, good service, and delicious. What more can I say. Excellent experience.

Cute small Cafe and breakfast place. Excellent and quick service. They do sell out of eggs Benedict so I'll have to try the weekends to experience that. Bottomless coffee (up charge if only getting a coffee to go) with prompt service. The waitress was kind, friendly, and quick. She was a delight! I had the Texas French Toast breakfast with 2 eggs and bacon. Super tasty with fresh plump Blueberries and Strawberries #RockFromRI

Arguably the best corned beef hash in the state. Staff is always cheerful and willing to help and answer any questions. All meals are moderately priced. Have been coming here for many years and highly recommend it. Note it is cash only and small.

Just the kind of place you want in your neighborhood! Ed's Roost lives up to its name with a flock to keep the kids counting till the food shows up. That's good food!! Diner based menu with some very nice twists on the traditional. Avocado toast was my choice - the eggs were perfect! Good coffee, good service, good morning 😉

Small place on Main St. Kitschy decor. Delicious food. We were headed to Dante's but it was swamped. We were not disappointed by the diversion. :) There did seem to be some tension between staff but we ignored it.

Even on a Saturday, on a holiday weekend we found a table, the single waitress was hoping around likes mad thing. The kitchen was producing the orders as fast as the flat top could go.

Delicious food, GREAT prices, friendly staff. Great local breakfasts place. Serving sizes are large compared to how much you're paying, especially compared to the other breakfast places around them. Quality is NOT lacking at all! Every time I've been I've been more than satisfied.

Cozy little place with an awesome environment around lunch time. Lots of regulars in the morning so hard to find a seat sometimes. Good food every time. Corn beef hash tasted a little saltier then prevoius times I've been there but still not horrible

Absolutely fantastic and even better now that they accept credit cards. If you haven't tried their corned beef hash, you need to try some soon. This restaurant has been a staple of Main Street for more than 30 years
