Carmines Restaurant

Me and my family went to this restaurant a few days ago. I have not been able to stop raving about it! The food is AMAZING! Our waitress Elizabeth was absolutely phenomenal. She's definitely my favorite waitress I've ever had. She made the experience even better and it was already great! Highly, highly recommend. You won't regret trying it!

Came on a Saturday night when they were playing live music. Great food and great service. A gentlemen came while we were eating to check up and see how the food was. We later saw that same individual playing the bass with the band playing live music, and unbeknownst to us it was Carmine himself! Great guy, great atmosphere, and great food/service. 10/10 recommend👍🏼

Had a decent review, but the cocky response from the owner grants a not going to bother going there again. Mentioned the location being in a rough part of town, to where I received a reply (see below) that they would walk us to our car next time. Obnoxious locals standing in groups outside of the restaurant and on the street isn't a great example for such a "good part of town."

We went to Carmine's tonight for dinner for the first time. We were extatic to find such a hidden gem on Maint St. in East Hartford! Our waitress was Elizabeth and she was FANTASTIC! She was knowledgeable, attentive, and had a terrific personality. What an asset she is to this company. I hope they realize what a one of a kind employee that they have. The food is homemade and out of this world. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you do go ask for Elizabeth, she'll walk you through everything and make your dinning experience an extrely pleasant one. I'd give this place 5 stars!

Great happy hour, attractive place. Food is solid as well...homemade pastas made daily, etc. UPDATE: We visit weekly, and enjoy their standout happy hour. I've since tried their chicken marsala and sausage broccoli rabe with parpadelle. Both among the best I've had, with the restaurant-made parpadelle making it even better. Always great service with a smile at the bar as well!
