It was ok... wish there were more low carb options but I made it work. The yogurt being served in its container... on my plate was different. Would have preferred it be in a bowl with a spoon. I had to eat the yogurt with a fork. The sausage links were great. My Husband ordered soft scramble and they were overcooked. We liked the salmon patty benedict the most

It's quickly obvious why they have been in business so many years and are thriving amongst all of the construction chaos across the street from them. The food is nothing short of spectacular. Delicious and impeccably presented. Service is spot on.

Wonderful to revisit one of my favorite places to eat and drink from my student years at MSU. Still looks largely the same; stained glass light fixtures, rough, old timbers and lots memorabilia on the walls. Nice ambiance, good food and drinks.

Visited on Saturday during East Lansing’s art fair. No wait for a table, but the servers seemed a bit overwhelmed. Excusable due to the event though. The brunch was simply outstanding. I had the veggie bowl and was impressed. My 11 year old got The King, which is basically a cross between French toast and bananas foster. She gave it 5 stars. It’s a little dark inside and feels more bar than restaurant, but not so much that it’s weird to eat there with kids. Overall, I say it’s one of the best breakfast/brunch spots in Mid-Michigan.

Always a pleasure! Their mimosas are the best, and their Benedict selection is amazing. I am a long time fan, and was glad to return after not having the chance to stop in for a while. I was thrilled to find out that Beggar's is still top notch.

Awesome brunch spot! Excellent drinks and food. The food was a little pricey for the portions given. The most fun part is you get to mix your own mimosas, and there are lots of cocktail options as well!

Stopped off after moving my son to State. Amazing food and service. Had the beggars bowl the chorizo gravy was sooooo good. My son destroyed the steak and eggs. And my wonderful beautiful wife throughly enjoyed the breakfast burrito with the chorizo gravy. Great place. Next time I need to try the Symathy for the Devil chili. Amy restaurant named after a Rolling Stones album is good in my book. 😀

This was our first visit. We came for Sunday brunch around 1:00 and got seated right away. We parked at M.A.C. about a block away which is free on Sundays. The place has a great college-town bar vibe. The waiter was pleasant and helpful. The food took a very long time to get to the table, but was worth it. I had the smothered burrito which was awesome and huge. My wife had the beggars bowl which was also wonderful. It came with a slice of thick-cut bacon which was amazing. We will definitely come again. Many more interesting things to try.

Nice brunch though it appears kitchen cooking is a bit inconsistent... My eggs Benedict had poached eggs that were fully cooked, no yoke while my companion had eggs that were runny.

I would definitely recommend this place, the food is really good. I got the Beggar's Bowl and it tasted much better than I expected. The portion size is also large, I couldn't even finish and that is rare for me. The restaurant style is kind of quirky and I think it's cool. 4 stars because the customer service was decent for my first time. I will most likely be back, overall it is a great spot.

Great service and food was great! I got their build your own sandwich on a croissant and the only reason I'm giving a four star is because the croissant fell apart before I even bit into it so it made it hard to eat. The server mentioned the croissants are made in house and you can tell, it was perfectly flaky and delicious. Service was fast and very friendly! Will be back for sure🙂

My Sparty daughter recommended this MSU classic restaurant. The food and atmosphere lived up to the hype. The breakfast burrito was amazing.

Great service, wonderful staff. Not my favorite in terms of atmosphere and the food was ok! We got Your Way Pancakes and a Your Way Omelette as well as the Hippie Bowl. Would not recommend the Hippie bowl, at least not with the walnuts.

Nice brunch spot. Service could have been a little faster but they were very friendly. Only complaint is it kinda smelled like a port-a-potty in there? Not sure if that's because of construction or what but not exactly what you want to smell while you're eating.
