I’ve gone here a few times! This time we got jjanjangmyeon, tteokbokki and some kind of jjigae. Food is pretty authentic, but not the BEST of best. But it’s pretty cheap for college students so nothing could beat that. I think they do a pretty good job on soups. The only thing that’s an inconvenience is parking.

Great food. Great prices. The kimbap was phenomenal. So fresh and so good. My favorite thing I tried. It came with wasabi and soy sauce. It’s traditionally eaten by itself but nothing wrong with a little soy sauce. The squid app was fine. They threw in fried onion and bell pepper with it. I was hoping for a little more squid for the price. The kanpungi was really good. I got beef. It was listed as spicy but wasn’t at all. I’d recommend getting shrimp kanpungi. Their kimchi rice was good. But I could barely taste the kimchi. I don’t think it was fermented enough. It’s listed as spicy but was not at all. Their chili oil needs a lot of work. It was spicy but not tasty or like any regular chili oil I’ve had. And the prices are really good for the portions you are getting. The service was great too. Overall: 8.0/10

Food was incredible, we ordered the Galbi and Dwaejigogi Bokkum, with the Hae Mul Pa Jun as a starter. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive. Our waitress in particular was spectacular, thank you Mika! We will definitely come back to this restaurant to try other dishes.

Charlie Kang’s is the REAL DEAL in authenticity regarding Asian food!!! I especially enjoyed eating with Stainless Steel Chop Sticks for the first time in my life!!! Now, THAT’S class!!! I had the General TSO Spicy Chicken. There’s NO COMPETITION anywhere close!!! Drop the Mic!!!

Charlie Kangs has the best food! Beef and broccoli is fresh and flavorful. Sweet and sour chicken is excellent. We love the pork egg rolls. Everything we have ordered from is there is delicious. Portions of food is plenty, we usually have leftovers. I’m happy with the delivery options. We would like to dine in sometime but we don’t see where we are supposed to park.

Overall, I like this restaurant. It's convenient and offers a wide variety of options. I particularly enjoyed the lunch combo when I worked in the area- you get a lot of food for a very affordable price. However, the advertisements in the fortune cookies is just ridiculous. Instead of having a fun fortune, you get something geared towards what the cookie is advertising (typically cryptocurrency or gaming). Yes, it's a small detail, but worthy of criticism. Without this detail I would gladly rate 5 stars.

A very good reasonably priced lunch menu I must say. They also include the complimentary Korean side dishes, I was given four of them. The squid lunch special comes with soup too and for $9 it's pretty amazing!. Service is excellent, wifi wasn't strong where I initially was seated(towards the entrance) so the lady was kind enough to offer me a table at the back. Total bill for the food you see was just $13.24 🤯 This place is a godsend for the students at MSU.

I order online on the door dash app, there is parking in the parking lot building. If you pick up and just go the parking is free. Dining in is also a very pleasant experience. The fish tank is decent looking. The wait for the food is good despite how busy they usually operate. The mirror giving the illusion that the place is big is a great idea! The servers are one of the nicest staff! The food is the best. The taste is extremely well made and I approve and recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone looking to enjoy good food. Try the stone bowl bibimbap for starters.

Charlie Kang’s: This Chinese and Korean Eatery is my absolute favorite place so far to come to for pork belly and duk bok gi. It’s hard to find good tteokbokki with a good sauce and you can’t forget the cheese. I honestly get these dishes every time I am in the area, and it never let’s me down. This place can get swamped and every time I’ve been here I got my meal to go and theyre usually on time unless there’s a buttload of people there. But just in case you don’t want to dine it, be aware of the times. It’s also part of one of the busiest streets especially standing next to MSU but there is a good amount of paid parking available. If you want non –paid parking you’d have to ask around because I’ve never been able to find one close enough. On one of my trips back I did try their ,”kalbee,”and I thoroughly enjoyed that as well, it had a good meat to fat ratio. FYI, I like fat. Try any entrée, they come with a side of rice, all set. Someday I hope I can venture off and try something new off this menu, but maybe when I get tired of the grilled belly and cheese noods.

The food here is delicious and it came to the table fast. The service was fast too. I really enjoyed the food. I was skeptical of ordering spicy food but in the end I'm glad I ordered it. The best Mongolian chicken. The fresh spring rolls was something I've never had in my life. After eating those, I don't think I am going back to the fried spring rolls. Amazing dish.

I started my culinary journey with the Crispy Spring Rolls, and they set the bar high right from the beginning. The delicate, perfectly fried rolls were filled with a medley of fresh vegetables and served with a delectable dipping sauce that danced on my taste buds. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the Korean BBQ experience. The expertly marinated meats, cooked tableside on a sizzling grill, were a true spectacle. The tender, flavorful cuts of beef and pork, combined with an array of dipping sauces and sides, created a symphony of flavors that I won't soon forget. It's an interactive dining experience that encourages conversation and connection with your fellow diners. The sushi at Charlie Kang's deserves a special mention. Each piece was a work of art, with the freshest ingredients carefully crafted into bite-sized delights. The Dragon Roll, in particular, was a masterpiece of taste and presentation. The attentive and knowledgeable staff at Charlie Kang's added another layer of enjoyment to the evening. They were more than happy to guide me through the menu, explain the cooking techniques, and suggest pairings for my meal. The service was prompt, and my water glass was never empty. Great food! Great service! Always clean! Reasonably priced! The only drawback would be parking due to location, but not so inconvenient to keep me from eating here. Definitely worth checking out. Love the chicken lo mein.

Can't say much about atmosphere as I've always ordered delivery; however, the different flavors and spices of everything I"ve ordered here so far has been delicious. Portions aren't massive or small - they're just right. The kitchen here is excellent and service for take-out is great, too. I've always gotten what I ordered except once where I mistakenly got a different dish and it was yummy, so, it was no big deal. Try it!
