Review Brownstones Coffee - East Northport

Excellent place for breakfast and brunch. Good coffee. The picture is of a seasonal hot cocoa pancakes. Chocolate chocolate chip pancakes with chocolate syrup, marshmallows and whipped cream.

It's a bit noisy for my taste. Very attentive wait staff. The very hungry man feast is a bargain. I don't know anywhere else where you are getting that much food at the price. I'd say the potatoes were the star of the meal. They were obviously deep fried and just so consistently crispy all around with a soft center. The only downside was the scrambled eggs which has that silly putty consistency you often get from eggs made on a flat top . I'll definitely be coming back.

Always a great place for brunch on the weekend. Long wait? No problem, get on the waitlist via their website and know when to get there. It's usually faster than what the site says and if anything finding parking is the hardest part!

I have been at this location twice and the food, service, and atmosphere have been amazing each time. I ordered a salad with a side of potatoes and they were so so good. The cinnamon swirl pancakes taste amazing too. Love the food here!

We went to Brownstone this past weekend for breakfast. Our server was amazing. She was attentive, friendly, and got the job done with a smile. It’s always nice to go out and have warm encounters :). I had the corned beef hash and my boyfriend had the cinnamon pancakes. The only issue I had was with my food. The corned beef hash isn’t that great. It’s too salty and lacking some flavor and freshness. ( hash tastes like it’s made somewhere else and they just chop it up and heat it at Brownstone :(. But the worst part is, you’re paying over $15 for potatoes and eggs. They try to be slick by mixing the hash with the potatoes thinking it’ll go unnoticed that there’s only like 2 ounces of hash. I’m used to my hash on the side of my potatoes so I separated it and the hash to potato ratio was horrible. Very little hash and a million potatoes. No good. My homemade corned beef hash portion at other restaurants is much larger. Brownstone, you gotta do better!

One of my favorite brunch spots! I love that you can make your reservation through yelp and not have to be present u til it’s your time to check in. Favorite dishes: French toast bites Turkey BLT and I love getting their cilantro lime dressing on the side to dip my fries in, try it and thank me later! Their banana strawberry smoothie, chefs kiss! Classic avocado toast is so good but fair warning, it’s BIG! Staff is always so friendly, and restaurant is very clean

Great atmosphere. Very fast service. Huge portions. A nice place to enjoy time with your family. Highly recommend

The overall experience was good, fast service, and the waiters were on point with my orders. Great for family breakfast or couples breakfast. Be prepared for a wait time, though, because it's always packed.

The most delicious chorizo omelette I’ve had in my life. Honey bee latte was delicious 🤤 my wife had the blt Benedict and loved it. Decor inside is nice with comfortable seating layout. Service was good 👍

Is it too much to ask for a pleasant lunch experience? Apparently not, at Brownstones. Surprised to find it was a franchise- it doesn’t act like one! Fresh and hot food, super pleasant (and professional) service and reasonable pricing- home run! The restaurant was hustling and so were the staff to keep up with the orders and food, but in a fun and enjoyable environment! I’ll be back!

Delicious food, homely environment, kind staff, and BUSY! As such, service was very slow and deters us from returning. Their signature appetizer was given at the end of our meal, although it was ordered before we even ordered our entrées. Waitress said she kept forgetting. 😶

No wait time when we arrived on a Saturday around 12pm for party of two. Waitress was extremely nice and attentive, food was excellent! Definitely coming back.

Then you get the bill.... Breakfast is excellent. Coffee is fantastic and the wait staff are nothing short of amazing, even on a busy Sunday morning. And then you get the bill looking for a 4% credit card fee. 4% is a bit steep when the average processing fees are 2.25%. Good thing I had cash. When restaurants charge CC fees, if I'm paying with a CC, that comes out of the gratuity for wait staff, even though I usually leave cash gratuities. Their tip is already calculated on an "inflated" bill due to inflation as it is. Why take that out on the wait staff you ask? At the end of the day, the total $$$ experience comes out of one wallet, the customer's. Will I still go back, absolutely, just will always have cash. April 2023.

I love Brownstones coffee! I have been in the other 2 locations and this is the best so far! More spacious and the food is always good ❤️ great service as well 👌🍳🥓
