Disregard all reviews prior to this year. New chef and bar management have transformed this place. I’ve lived in the community since 2005. In all that time I only patronized The View/Vintage sporadically and either to support a local musician or because of proximity and laziness. “Incredible views supported by mediocre food and beverage” was the best I could offer as an endorsement. Last night I had one of the best Old Fashioneds ever, and I’m a booze snob. To begin, an orange rind and cinnamon stick are torched on a cedar plank to smoke the glass and a dash of lavender bitters is used. The signature cocktail menu offers equally creative and mouthwatering options, employing liquors to suit the most discerning palate. We did not dine but the dishes being served looked very appealing. In contrast to the past, where I had to struggle to find inspiration, the current menu had me excited to try it all. The deck has been expanded and the tent is long gone, revealing the spectacular views for which this community is known. My wife and I are now excited for the approaching warmer weather so that we may finally enjoy fine dining/drinking a short walk from our home. Well done folks! And thank you.

The venue, staff and menu couldn't of been better!! While I was there for a wedding I have to imagine they can excel with whatever you needs may be!! 5 out of 5 doesn't do justice to how truly wonderful the place and people there are!!

My husband and I had our wedding here in October 2021. Let me tell you how beautiful and memorable it was!! First of all the view itself says it all but not only was it aesthetically pleasing the safe at The View at Morgan Hill are amazing. Everyone from Shannon the event planner to the wait staff and bridal attendant were just amazing! They all paid such attention to detail and was so glad they were all apart of our special day. The food was perfect and we got such great feedback from all of our guests loving just everything. Thank you so much to everyone at The View at Morgan Hill!!!

We used The View for our wedding and I wouldn’t have wanted it anywhere else. It’s not easy to plan a COVID wedding. But with their Event Coordinator, Shannon, I was so confident and at ease. She and the entire team went above and beyond and did an amazing job. Everything went perfectly!!! I also wanted to give a special shout-out to Paige who kept me calm and on schedule all day. She was an absolute dream. If you’re looking for a sign to choose The View as your venue, this is it.

Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for Shannon, Kara, and the rest of the staff at The View at Morgan Hill. From the beginning of the wedding planning process (right before the pandemic), Shannon was there to guide us every step of the way. As the pandemic hit, she made sure to answer all the questions we had and calm my anxieties given the uncertainty at the time. Every meeting was a pleasure and she made sure to make this stress-inducing process fun. Kara joined the team a few months before our wedding, and she was another breath of fresh air. Even when I had the one bridezilla moment a few days before our wedding, Kara handled me like a pro and helped me stay focused and as calm as a bride can be a few days before her wedding. I am also so grateful for Haley, the bridal attendant I was assigned. I did not even know that I would have an attendant assigned to me, and Haley made sure all my needs were met from the morning when I arrived to get ready at the bridal suite until we were cutting our cake after dinner. She is a pro at pulling up bustles and pinning boutonnieres. From the booking process to our wedding day, the staff at The View handled everything with the utmost professionalism and grace. Even our reimbursement for the overpayment due to less guests came back in record time. On the day of our ceremony rehearsal and our wedding day, everything was perfectly coordinated, and I did not have to think, something I greatly appreciated. Our guests were thrilled with the venue, the service, and the food, and continue to rave about how wonderful (and generous) our appetizers and entrée choices were. All in all, any future event we have, we will definitely be rebooking at The View.

Incredible view, beautiful scenery, perfect for around 70-90 people for a wedding. They even put up a tent for us! Had a small incident with some staff being rude to us for no reason, but otherwise amazing! Recommended!
