Kitchen was short-staffed tonight, but that only meant the food took a little longer to get to us. It didn't affect the meal. We are not complaining because every bite was absolutely worth the wait! If I could rate higher I would. Great cider, prompt & attentive service, and best food I've eaten all week. I was skeptical if the wait for seating would be worth it--it most certainly was! And they actually seated us quickly despite the busy night. Loved trying new-to-us foods (octopus) as well as classics (shrimp and grits). Everything was delicious.
Great Atmosphere and even BETTER food! Loved the laid back atmosphere and the beer/food was fantastic... best food we had on any of the san juans. No matter where you sit you get an excellent view. I had the fish tacos, my wife had the cheese burger... both exellent!

Great food, eclectic menu that can be just plain simple (a great burger) or really fancy. Make sure you check the opening hours - the cafe adjusts them frequently.
New season, new chef, many new menu items--wonderful!! Always loved West Sound Cafe, but this is a step above.
