Good food. Good service. Relaxed casual atmosphere. It’s not fancy. We were seated much sooner than the 30 minute estimate so we were quite happy. The food comes out fairly quick and so do the tables. Nice dinner - id def come back another time.
Just want to give a shout out to the best - Silver Moon at Lake Oconee! This restaurant always serves great food and has great service. We love taking guests here so they can have a taste of what makes Lake Oconee such an amazing place to live. Just hosted the University of North Florida Ladies Golf Team at our home during the Lake Oconee Invitational and we just had to share this local hot spot with them!
Sooooo all around great. Our server was delightful and very helpful. The owner came over and greeted us and was so fun to chat with. We ordered a chocolate peanut butter pie to go and it was over the top amazing. The halibut was great, the Philly rolls were great, the strawberry shortcake was delicious.
The food was great! We had a group and the lady would not give us another table. So I had to eat at a chair without a table or be crowded. I thought it was rude and not up to the southern hospitality Georgia is known for. I will come back because the food was great and the other guests had a good experience.
Was welcomed with a smile by Carol once in door. Fish & Chips were great with homemade tartar sauce. Enjoyed sitting at bar & the friendly atmosphere. Exceeded my expectations!

Wow, just wow. What an amazing hidden gem. Great food, atmosphere, and staff. I had the blue cheese burger, and my lady had a fish dish. For appetizers we had the philly cheese steak egg roles, and fetta cheese dip/chips. All were phenomenal.

Love this restaurant! Our family had planned to visit another restaurant, but due to hours of operation, we had to choose somewhere else and decided to give The Silver Moon a try. We were pleasantly surprised by the greeting we received by the owner, as well as the friendliness of the waitstaff, including the amazing service by the young lady from Wisconsin who served our table. We were given wonderful food recommendations by our waitress as well! The Chicken Marsala and Halibut were amazing! Loved my wine selection! We returned the following night with our Papaw.... did have a little wait (as expected for a weekend) but it was pleasant outside and shaded seating is available, as well as water provided... The bartender was super friendly and I again went to my favorite "go to" wine here! Quite disappointed by our server....she wasnt very patient or friendly! However, we did get a visit from our sweet waitress from the previous night! The salmon was good, tuna bowl was a favorite of our daughter, and fried shrimp was a favorite as well. Papaw had wanted the rib eye but settled for the New York Strip since they were out.... Steak wasnt a favorite...A little on the tough side! Peanut Butter Pie was a favorite both nights and the grits are great too! This is definitely a favorite of our family and sooo many items on the menu we cant wait to try!
