Pittsburgh Blue is a traditional American steak house with a nice interior and a welcoming bar. This restaurant is very popular so we recommend making a reservation. We went there with some friends and were very impressed with literally everything - the ambience, the staff (courteous and professional), the wine menu, the cocktails, and the food. Even the restrooms were special.
We opted for fish and steaks, and the prime rib. The prime rib is in a league of its own, we can highly recommend it. The steaks come in many different sizes and we are pretty sure there is an option for every steak-lover. In addition to steaks, there is an extensive list of fish options, and we enjoyed that too.
The wine list is great, and the prices high but fair.
We will definitely come back again.
So pleasantly surprised by this shopping mall find. A great steakhouse with great service. Have been here 3 times now, all with different people, and never did anyone leave less than full and happy. Love the filet, but tried the NY strip this time and would get again. I am in love with the loaded mashed potatoes. Will come back again very soon.
Exceeded my expectations. We get cow from a farmer and home steaks are the best. This steakhouse rivals the best steaks I've ever had. Cooked to perfection. The sides (had asparagus, creamed spinach and fried) were great. The bread was to die for!

Amazing service & phenomenal steaks... Plus those loaded mashed potatoes - SO GOOD!!! It was my mother's birthday - she absolutely loved our evening dining there & they helped us celebrate the occasion with a wonderful dessert as well. Cocktails & wine selection are top-notch.
Food excellent. Service excellent. I recommend making reservations via open table. we dined later Sunday evening at 7:45pm and place was not full at all so we really had great attention from staff and food came out quickly. Just a tip. I noticed lamb lollipops on app menu but we always get the calamari as app since it's so good. They bring you a basket of bread first thing. And I knew I would be getting their famous Hashbrown Blue so I decided to get the lamb lollipops as my entrée and even though it's meant to be app portion I was so full I only could eat half of them! So if you like lamb this can be an option and waiter said folks have done that before since they have no other option for lamb chops on dinner side. The lamb pops are Mediterranean style with sun dried tomatoes and capers and balsamic Glace drizzle. YUM!
My husband and I went for a belated Valentine's Day dinner and were Not Disappointed! Have been to this location several times and also the Maple Grove location. Loved the waitress we had! I only wish I could remember her Name. She directed me to the perfect glass of red to go with my Steak Oscar. As with many things in life I do agree you get what you pay for and this is a great example. A must for special occasions!!
Outstanding experience. The staff there is professional, courteous, and thoughtful. I was there as a part of a work lunch with 20 people and our server had multiple staff to make sure everything came out of the kitchen together. I had the scallops appetizer which was PACKED with flavor and the bacon cheeseburger which was 8/10. Very enjoyable!
Great food! Wonderful selection of steaks, sides and appetizers. Cocktail menu is good-sized and all cocktails are always great. Always an oversized dessert, usually enough for two people. Service is excellent, waiters are always friendly and responsive. Atmosphere is very comfortable. Great location inside the Galleria shopping mall. Pittsburgh Blue is a wonderful experience and dining experience - can’t go wrong!
