This is one of my favorite places to eat. During my last visit I wanted a Ruben sandwich but I didn't see it on the menu. My server pointed out an item in the sandwich section called City Lights. The meat was pastrami but I wanted corned beef. No problem at the Skylark! They will make what you want even if it's not on the menu. My Ruben was delicious served with tasty fries. That's why I keep returning. My server was great, fast service and helping me find what I wanted.
I had the chicken and rice soup it was really good and the main course I ordered the Portuguese seafood linguine it was out of this world. So good!

The mimosa's were amazing... Pur waiter Jordan was on point.. And our good was delicious.. A frequent stop for me when I'm visiting NJ.
This is one of the things I miss about New Jersey. I left there in 2010 and nothing compares to the SkyLark. I was just talking to someone about Diners Drive-Ins and Dives and showed them the video. I take pride being in the video and being the one to get them to come. The food is stellar and so out of the box for a diner. I will need to go back at some time. It is the best.

The food was good, it was my very first time every trying Eggs Benedict and I loved it and that Orange juice amazing. Service was amazing.

1st visit to the Skylark, We were very pleasantly surprised. Clean, large, excellent service and delicious food. What more can you ask for??? Will not hesitate to go back.
Love coming here; it’s not your typical diner! They have great specials & I love their service! I want r give a shout out to two of the staff there: Sharon, from London & a gentleman who’s mane I don’t know how to spell, but translated it means “sing.” Both servers are genuinely cool people who go outbid their way to truly serve with a smile! Sharon, my stepdaughter, Hailey, is truly shy & hardly ever smiles. Tonight, when you served us, and you spoke to her, she literally lit up & smiled wide!! We are grateful to see someone on this planet Brought our a smile in her!

Came here for lunch today with my son and husband and it was very good! I got the Mediterranean Chopped Salad, my son the Skylark Double cheeseburger, and my husband a tuna melt. Food and service was great. Also I ordered a English breakfast got tea, it was soooooo good. 🥰💗❤
Went out getting my wife's son his first car. Such a long process and it was getting late and my wife saw the bright lights, so we turned into the Skylark lounge for dinner. It was such a cool place. They had live music playing, the service was friendly and quick. The coffee was good and the food was great . My wife got a western omelette as each one of us always does when we hit up a diner (They give you 2 diffrent types of toast. Yumm) I got a rib eye steak sandwich with fries and the bread was so warm and soft, very good. The best thing on the table were the onion rings. So crunchy and tasty, we ended up fighting for the last one. Lol. Would love to come back when we are in the area.
After hearing it was on diners drive ins and dives we OF COURSE had to go.
We got both items that were listed next to the guy fieri's choice: the turkey burger and the porchetta/egg/cheese, as well as a reuben and the quesadilla burger.
The bacon onion jam turkey burger was by far our favorite. Juicy, sweet and delicious. I liked the porchetta but others weren't about it and reversed for the quesadilla burger. Reuben was only okay.
Overall we will be back definitely for the bacon onion jam turkey burger, but maybe we'll try some others
This place provided great food and service to me. The waitress was polite and thorough. I really like the decor also. They have a bar and event nights that I would look into an in the near future.
I am very impressed by the full bar/unique cocktails at Skylark-cheap drinks made well. I have been going here since I was a kid. It is more upscale for a local diner. The ambiance is nice; there is a huge dining section and another room with a big bar, jukebox, etc. Service is generally swift. As with most diners, there are many options. I got nachos and fish and chips which were pretty good. You can count on this spot to not disappoint when you want a more humble/quick place to eat in town.
The is always good and it’s always a special treat to have alcohol beverages at a diner!
