Amazing spot to get a freshly made bahni mi sandwich. Great portion size, crispy baguette, fresh ingredients, and such friendly customer service. Would definitely come back here for their sandwiches. We got the vegetarian options which is still a great try for anyone looking for a filling but healthy and delicious bite for an affordable price.
This place is like great Viet fast food for me. Get in and get out quick and easy. If going for the sandwiches #10 bbq pork is the best with #5 lemongrass beef a close second. If takeout, call before going so they can have it ready for you to pickup without waiting.
Tried their Roast pork banh-mi and combined beef pho.
I couldn't have selected a better place to try my first banh-mi. The Roast pork is very flavorful, even though I was skeptical if it would turn out to be dry, I couldn't be more wrong.
Pho was very pleasant. Beef was pretty flavorful
Pro tip: Add some sriracha and lime, you can thank me later
Do try dining outside in Summer, seemed lovely.
It was my first time but not last! I had the largest bowl of Pho I have ever seen! The food was fresh, different and delicious!
Went back again and still worth it. Today we outside in the porch area. A small family business located on Old Post Road, near Edison High School. This Vietnamese owned bussiness replaced the former deli bussiness. Not much has changed with the exception of outdoor seating. You can eat indoor or outdoor. The decor is simple and clean with a unisex bathroom. There is a small parking lot for a few cars. The menu is limited but, the items are a very good selection of Vietnamese cuisine. We tried three sandwiches called Banh Mi. The roast pork, grilled chicken and BBQ pork. They were all dressed with basil, jalapeno peppers, lettuce, onions etc. On a toasted baguette. We also had Pho a Vietnamese soup. The combination Beef Pho as well as, the BBQ Pork were winners. The soup is served with thin rice noodles, bamboo sprouts, jalapeno peppers, basil, lime and meat. You can remove those ingredients if you don't like the jalapeno pepper for example but, don't. This soup is a explosion of flavors. They also serve some favorite Vietnamese appetizers, rice and vermicelli dishes. If you want to be introduced to Vietnamese cuisine at a beginner's level with going to a Vietnamese Restaurant this is the place to go. You won't be disappointed. You will enjoy it and keep coming back.
The soup here is really savory and the noodles are the same as every good pho place ive been to. The place is overall really delicious and will definitely be coming here again. I ordered the brisket pho which was 12 and my friends got the beef combo which was 12.50 each. Both very good, the jalapenos are super spicy though.
Second time coming here but this time for their XL pho. The broth was good, the garnish was good and the amount of food was full filling as well. The only thing is the combination pho does not have the tripe, tendon and meatball. (Combination pho or a.k.a train pho 🚃) The thai tea I felt it finished too fast lol too much ice than tea but it was good. Avocado milkshake was good too. I really enjoyed my dinner for this cold weather.
