It’s a good and reliably good place. I visit it frequently. Last time mussels and clams were proper. Steak was good , better than in places around , but not five star either. Giving four stars

Great food. The prawn risotto is very flavorful, and comfortable. I also like their seafood pot, lots of variety of seafood, very fresh and fragrant. The bone marrow is also good. Like their food and service both.

Walked by and found this place for dinner. Nice atmosphere and good food. Small plates were nice to see but I had the petite filet and it was 4 pieces of meat, I mean I understand petite but come on now.

Been to Salt and Iron twice in the last week, first for brunch, then for dinner. While staff was pretty accommodating for a gluten free brunch, that menu has very little for a GF allergy, which was disappointing. Won't be back for brunch. Dinner, on the other hand, was amazing. Crudo had great chili flavor, bone marrow super tasty with a GF roll offered as alternative to baguette. And the braised lamb shank was falling off the bone. Husband thoroughly enjoyed his perfectly cooked waygu steak too. Wait staff friendly and efficient.

This was a great spot to try while visiting. I chose to sit outside and watch the sunset over the city (and the water than you can see from the restaurant) so I can't speak to the inside atmosphere. However, I can say that the staff is very kind and attentive. As one can expect, any seafood you get here will be phenomenal as I chose their salt and iron porkchop that came with prawns I was really impressed with the portion of the food. They don't skimp out compared to other restaurants, so be prepared to ask for a to go box. Everything was really flavorful and tasted great, although the porkchop was just a touch over cooked, it was still flavorful. I'd definitely come back here when I get the chance.

We showed up unknowingly on Sunday which apparently is an all day brunch as only breakfast was offered at 2pm. There was no seating but we snagged a spot at the bar. The avocado toast was good and fairly priced, the burger is a hidden item on the breakfast/brunch menu, barely spotted it, and was amazing. One of the best I've ever had. Definitely worth it. The server was incredibly kind and responsive. I had a tickle in my throat and asked for water asap as to not cough and alarm people following a pandemic and he got it to me immediately. The drinks were not totally delicious but strong and pretty with edible flowers in them. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. Overall would highly recommend for the experience at the price.

This place is a hidden gem. The place makes you think you're in a set of a movie with how coherent the atmosphere around and in the restaurant in. If you would've told me this is a Michelin star place, I wouldn't doubt it. Everything we ordered had looked stunning and had a defined flavor profile. Even the dipping sauces like the tartar and jalapeno aioli. Also these are the best calamari rings I've ever had. Definitely recommend. There were some things that were a bit off like the bacon being a bit overcooked but it's something I'll forgive for just how much restaurant punches above it's weight class I'm definitely going again next time
