Review Shore Diner - Egg Harbor Township

This diner was recommended by a friend, it was a 15/20 minute ride from Atlantic City but we'll worth the trip. Extensive selection for a diner, (menu had about 5 pages). So much to choose from a bit overwhelming for a first timer. The waitress was patient and friendly. Tried the pasta dishes, seafood vodka medley and theLasagna, both were tasty and satisfying. Great portions for your money. The bread basket comes with breads and tasty pastries. The place was clean, well lit and warm decor. The drinks were also well made. I would definitely visit again. We had the Tigerwood drink and a very berry cosmo. They also have wine.

Ok, I've decided to try shore diner for the first time ever. The food was delicious everything tasted fresh The service was quick and easy despite it being packed. The atmosphere was a warm, family-friendly environment. The staff was on point and the server was outstanding honestly if you're ever by the shore try Shore Dinner. Ps you'll want to make reservations place gets packed quick. And yes they serve alcohol 🍷 😁👍

Normally, they are ok. I don’t know what happened, maybe different cook. Bread basket had burned bread or cake, whatever it is. Sweet potatoes burnt and no butter was offered. Salad was lettuce, no vegetables in it. The chicken rice soup was good, thank goodness or I would have starved. We had to keep asking the waiter for everything, our drinks which were included, he never came back and asked how is everything. Wasn’t sure what was included in the special or not, even when I pointed it out in the menu. Maybe it’s just an off night. We will try it another time.

Beware of beverage poisoning! I leave Shore Diner one star because I really wanted to like it but in the end I found very few, if any at all, redeeming qualities during our dining experience. From the outside it really does not look like an active lively diner at all, it actually looks abandoned, but when you walk in it's actually very bright and has a welcoming decor. We went for lunch and it was my first time there and I was told it was a great place to eat for casual dining any time of day. That was the hope. The food itself was just okay. The egg rolls were a bit undercooked. My burger was... decent-ish. The French onion soup was not that great. Our server at first seemed nice enough, but things kind of went downhill from there. Before any of the food came, we brought to her attention that the iced tea we ordered tasted like there was dish soap mixed in... and I mean a heavy soap taste... disgusting. She apologized and said it was just freshly made and she would check with her manager. We suggested that maybe they didn't rinse out the carafe properly and some soap may have remained in there... she seemed apologetic and then consulted with the manager but it didn't seem like they were going to do anything more. Then when our check comes they had the nerve to actually charge us for the soapy iced tea. She went back and fixed the mistake and brought us an updated bill. Despite the complaints and such we finished our meal as best we could and went to pay at the counter and at that time I had overheard the conversation with the counter clerk and our server; she was more concerned about how much of a tip we left her. Very disappointed in Shore Diner. Seriously, no joke, no exaggeration, but they gave one of us food poisoning. It was bad, too. We actually had to go to Urgent Care two days later and be put on antibiotics because other than the soapy tea and slightly undercooked egg roll we had not had anything out of the ordinary in our diets that week. Shame on you Shore Diner.

Order was wrong. Paid extra for brown avocado & some nice burnt toast. Called the place to complain (I placed a delivery order online) and the hostess was so rude. Talked to a server then & then I got hung up on. Called back and they have had me on hold for 10 minutes. Do not go here!!

I had a delicious supper here last night and everything was great! The seafood medley with wheat penne was amazing 😋 . High quality sauce!

A great place for breakfast! Amazing staff, delicious foods, and lots of space! A great place for a working lunch for one.. or the whole family! Daily lunch specials, and the soups are always a great option! Don't forget to try dessert!

Absolutely fantastic! Generous portions, prices decent, our waitress was beyond polite and caring! Best waitress I've had in 55 years. She was aware that one in our party of 6, she asked one if she could cut her main meal for her! We were Volunteers for CONTACT We make calls to Seniors who need a check-in that they're alright.

Always a good place to get a fast meal. However, most recent visit it took the "kitchen staff" (3) three times to get my entrée order correct. My waitress apologized for the mistakes. Decided to eat my side dishes while the kitchen staff finally got my order correct. I felt the manager on duty should have stopped by my table to make a personal effort to follow up on my meal status.

Good food and a pleasant waitress breakfast was perfect most diners have mediocre breakfast eggs never cooked right no complaints at the Shore Diner..

My Fiance and I went pretty late to the Shore Diner yesterday at around 9:45ish since there was no place else really open at the time and OH MY GOD;the service was Very Good. Our server was very quick and on the ball and got us everything we needed and asked for throughout our meal.I got of course my favorite French onion soup and I'm going to have to say the Shore Diner has the Best French Soup Around;LOVE it!so much flavor and filling. My man felt like having breakfast so he ordered some breakfast dishes and everything came out just as we wanted.And after wards to finish off we got the Blueberry Cream and Banana Cream and We were in Heaven!Highly recommended!Loved everything and will go again many times over ☺

Takes me back to the good old days. Excellent diner food with plenty of extras, great service and the deserts are to die for.

Took my sister there for her birthday. The Portabella sandwich was the best I ever had. Top class and great service. Never had a meal I didn't like there.

Mediocre at best... Long wait for food, but this doesn't bother me that much - the food was very bland and not well seasoned. Won't be returning anytime soon.

Great food and not crazy expensive! Great place to stop on your way to AC they have Sandwiches to Gourmet meals! Can't go wrong!

Eddie and I frequent this diner regularly because the food is consistently great and the waitresses and staff are top notch! One of the waitresses who's name is Mackala , found out while Ed and I were eating, that it was our 28th Anniversary! She surprised us with a slice of cake, wished us Happy Anniversary, and told us the desert was on her! Wow! I so touched by her kindness! I was very moved by her very thoughtful gexture�

I like the Shore Diner. I have enjoyed every meal I have had there.

Horrible... ordered medium rare, no pickle, came with dill pickle and all of is juice all over my bun... told waitress, she took to back put burger and roll on new plate When I complained it wasn't med rare Ann's couldn't eat it, she brought the check.... I'd you want to see a pic of bigger and check, look at yelp!

I was there yesterday...(Sunday March 23rd). I waited 10-15 minutes to get a menu and had 2 waitresses and a manager tell me who my waitress was. After 20 minutes of not even being asked for my order I left and went to another diner in Northfield where I had a great great meal. I usually have great food and service at Shore Dinner but thanks to their bad service yesterday i will now be checking out a new place.

Had the worst chicken alfredo. No flavor what so ever.
