Review A Touch Of Italy - Egg Harbor Township

The room was beautiful, the food was fantastic and the staff was friendly and fast. The background music was traditional and played at just the right volume to allow conversation or just enjoy the music itself. The cake table which they put together was remarkable. They really helped make my niece's big day a great day.

Located at a great spot on the Black Horse Pike, in Egg Harbor Township N.J. THIS Restaurant has it ALL! From delicious appetizers to awesome entrées and Fantastic drinks to delectable desserts. Their Martinis are off the hook! Suggestion...try the Appletini! A friendly staff, the perfect ambiance, with PLENTY of seating and parking. DEFINITELY A GREAT PLACE FOR FOOD, AND DRINK. A relaxing experience, where FUN IS ALWAYS ON THE MENU!

GREAT experience at a Touch of Italy last night. We had never been there before, never even heard of it. My boyfriend and I were arguing about where to eat and we just pulled in there on a whim and I'm glad we did! The food was delicious, and our waitress Ardis was just super and helped to make my birthday a very special one! Thank you!

This place does a great job of appearing to be a wholesome, family restaurant. Couldn't be further from the truth. Honestly they need a thorough investigation by the health department and the IRS. In the meantime, before you leave a tip for your server consider the fact that there's a good chance the desperate and greedy owners will take it these days. Cash only and handing it directly to your server gives them a better shot at keeping what they've earned. They already arent paid correctly..legally. Another tip: avoid the meatballs. To save money, they use all of the old bread left behind on tables. Touched or half eaten, it all goes into a big bin to be recycled and used for breadcrumbs. And that's just the tip of the iceberg here. But hey, as chef Andrew says, they wouldn't be able to stay in business as long as they have if it weren't for "little tricks" like that. Bon appetit! I honestly can't wait to see the lies the owner responds to this with, and that's okay. You can lie on a review easy, but will it be that easy to explain to the health department and IRS? 🤷‍♀️🤣

My husband and I have been dining at Touch of Italy for years, we have never had a bad experience and the food has always been on point. Until last night, our server was was slow, ( she had maybe 4 tables)after taking our drink order and delivering 10 minutes later she spilled my drink on the table, instead of cleaning it up immediately she proceeded to deliver cocktails to another table, cleaned it myself. Took another 20 minutes for app which was sent back. Another 20 minutes for soup and salad, then our meal came out . Not sure if there is knew kitchen staff but it surely was not delicious. Attempted to get a glass of wine and finally stopped the manager for him to get it for me. The only attentive person was the bus girl.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time because we heard great things about it. Well I'm going to say we were highly disappointed. The food was subpar especially for $28 raviolis! Olive Garden would have been better and way cheaper! The portion sizes are small too for the price you are paying. Service was excellent though I will say that! But other than that won't be back not worth the money!

Use to be so much better.....even staff... service was just fair took a while for our waitress to come back and never once did she ask if we needed anything we had to call her over when we did need something Food was just ok nothing special it use to be good and a really good portion. I use to love the egg plant rollotini but it is way better now at Jo Jo’s down the street ! Prices to high in comparison to portion received Took almost 40 minutes after our order was put in to get food and the place wasn’t busy

We have been passing this restaurant for years on our travels elsewhere. We finally decided to take a drive down the pike to specifically come here. Our waitress Becky, the bus boy, and the manager Scott were awesome. We never filled our wine glass ourselves. Becky appeared at the right moment every time. Becky was on point with everything! Same with the bus boy. Water was always filled, empty plates removed promptly. The mgr Scott came over and introduced himself. We told him it was our first time there. He came back half way thru dinner to see how we were doing and if everything was to our liking. When we were leaving he made a point to meet us on our way out and shake our hands and ask how it was and thanked us for coming in. We said we'd definitely be back! The staff we encountered were just so nice!! We tried the Prix Fix Menu so that we could try an app, main course and dessert. My husband really enjoyed his Veal Parm. My Chicken Piccata was very good also. I opted for the zucchini instead of pasta which was very tasty. I think our favorite was the included appetizer. The brick oven bruschetta pizza was amazingly delicious! It was the size of a small pizza! The homemade cannoli was fresh and not overly sweet which was perfect! A nice ending to a lovely evening. Also, I'd like to add that the wine list is plentiful and has something for every palate and purse. We opted to eat in the dining room with the large fireplace, but we could still lightly hear the bar singer singly soft rock in the bar area. It was a nice touch. I can't give enough compliments about the service we had tonight, 10/13/16. It was a great experience all around. We will be back very soon and we are bringing friends!!

Authentic Italian cuisine, everything is home made from scratch, like your grandma would make it. The best veal in south Jersey, comes from a local free range meat packer. Dishes to consider, Zuppa di Peschi for the seafood lovers, Chicken Sorrentino for the ones who like a healthy chicken dish, Fillet Madeira for the ones who want to experience a beef dish like no other. Great wine selection, extensive Martini list, the best desserts in the area.

I had my husband's 60th surprise birthday dinner at Touch of Italy and it was the best place to have a party. From the beginning when I scheduled, to the planning of the menu and the night of the dinner everyone was so kind and so much help. The food and drinks were outstanding. Our waitress Kristy was so nice and made sure everyone was taken care. The manager Scott came around a lot making sure I was happy with everything and if he could do anything else for me. And the birthday cake was pure chocolate heaven. Thank you Scott, Kristy and the staff at Touch of Italy for helping me make my husband's birthday special.

Wonderful, fresh delicious food. Our server was wonderful. We went for our anniversary and had shrimp cocktail for appetizer, a bottle of reisling. She had veal marsala, whodunit she found to be of smaller outrun than she had before, but still delicious. I had pan seared Mahi Mahi, which was very tasty. For dessert, we had a piece of bailey's cake, abs they wrote happy anniversary on the plate. It was on the pricey side, but great for our special occasion.

Food was good. It’s usually great. The waitress did not check on us at all. Bus boys came around a lot, but not our waitress. We were seated and had cocktails before receiving menus. The menu said that lump crabmeat could be added to our menu item at no extra charge, but we were told it would be an upcharge of $9. My daughter got a kids meal, which comes with ice cream, but we had to remind the waitress that she gets ice cream. They did end up giving us a nice dessert on the house since we had 2 birthdays at the table. That was nice. I’ve been there a dozen times and the service is typically great. This time was average.

Outrageously overpriced!!!!! The quality of food was disgusting!!!! I've had better manicotti at The Olive Garden. Portion size was good, but the taste of the food was just not there. I would not recommend this restaurant. Very disappointing, waiting 2 hours for your food is asinine and when your check comes there is an individual charge for every single thing under the sun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I attended a group- work Christmas dinner last night, the room was very cozy and the servers were attentive and courteous. Food was amazing... Stuffed mushrooms and appetizers were scrumptious. Main course for large group came staggered and somewhat delayed... But followup made up for a large group... Maybe an extra server during main course could have helped transition and delivery. I waited for my work mates to be plated before i dug in. Dessert and coffee was delightful. Parking is ample and matridee' was helpful and friendly. Highly recommend

I had a gathering for 60 people in a private room Sunday 3/19/17. It could not have gone any better. Scott worked out a great menu for us and everything came out hot and delicious. There were plenty of servers to refill drinks and kept my guests very happy. I do not often give 5 stars but I must say they deserve it. The food and service were A+ and they were very organized and prepared.

Great food, atmosphere and service. Even fully packed with 3 parties in 3 private rooms, and the main dining room full everything was great. It’s even good to sit at the bar, talk to people and eat.

The food was great. I had chicken parm, but our waitress was rude

Food was horrible. My chicken alfredo was disgusting. My wife's manicotti tasted like watered down ketchup. Waited 2hrs to get our food. For $77 for 2 dinners you should at least be served excellent food. Never again!
