The Barbecue Pit - El Cajon - Photo album

One of the best family owned restaurants that I’ve eaten in a long time exactly what I needed for this evening. I asked for recommendations when I went to the counter. They surprised me with this amazing meal. I’m so glad I stopped in everybody should visit this place.

Excellent!! The meat is like butter!! This place brings back such taste bud memories of my childhood. All of them were family favorites. There isn't anything on the menu that is bad, it's ALL delicious. When I was there the other day they didn't disappoint. I got exactly what I remembered. Oh I wish
The best ever ever besides Wranglers. But we love love the BBQ pit. The cashier is always so sweet (the original cashier woman) she's about 30 & has kids. I wish I knew her name but she is family of the owner. Anyways we love her. We love the BBQ pit 😋

We have been stopping in this wonderful, family run BBQ restaurant for years- always delicious, reasonably priced, great service. The beef, pork and ham prepared perfectly, BBQ sauce amazing and a variety of tasty sides. Never disappointed!
Stopped in for lunch. Got the beef and chicken plate...DELICIOUS! Great seasoning on chicken, bbq sauce for beef was awesome. Best side of baked beans I have ever had! Will absolutely be back for more
I bought a small rib lunch to go for 17.29 the cashier didn't give me a fork or napkins, maybe she doesn't use them herself. The ribs were hard enough to break a tooth. The bbq sauce was cold right out of a Kraft bottle packed in 3, 1 inch micro contaners, no custom ingredients just terrible I didn't
