I weekly shop at the Lakeside store on Olde HWY80..Employees are always nice and very helpful. For the most part it's pretty stocked. Prices are right. I should own stock in the company I spend so much there. Loved ones have to eat!! They have everything!!

Today 4-26-22 I went in to pick up my order that was placed the nite before! TSC did not have the 30 lb size of dog food I always use! They did have 16 lb bags so I told them to hold 4 bags for the next morning pick up! The person I talked with offered to give me 2 - 16lb bags for the 30lb price! I did not ask for this price it was offered! I get to TSC at 8:30am! Nobody there knows anything about my order! The unsmiling manager who was called over and said we only do 2 bags and walks away! I go to check out and no one knows anything! Manager can't be bothered! I pay full price on all the bags! It's really not a problem, but they offered to give me the price! How about they do their jobs! The manager was not a customer service person! Maybe more training is necessary! Good luck, won't be seeing me again!

Looked online for an item and it said it was in stock in store. Went to store and nope, not there. They were very nice when they told me their inventory is off. Not a great reason to return. Not the first time I had a problem at that store.

I was there this past week and every employee that I talked with and helped me was AWESOME! That's rare lately at most other type of retail locations. The employees at the El Cajon location deserve a raise or bonus.🙂

An impressive range of tools and supplies. They also have quite a bit of outdoor sporting equipment. A good selection of veterinary supplies for horses goats cows and chickens. Everything seems reasonably priced, not too expensive, not ridiculous Li cheap.

Store floor is always cluttered and negotiating with a cart is not a friendly experience. Actually, it is terrible. Often, chicken feed, dog feed or other spillage is on the floor which is a real risk for slipping and injury. On numerous visits, I informed store staff about spillage on floor as staff stocked shelves or maintained registers. And, often feed bags are taped up with transparent tape but not always marked down as they should be and significantly. Several times I returned 50 lb. bags of dog food or poultry food as it was moldy as I think it had to have been in the weather. There was never an issue with returns but I am lugging 50 lb. bags a second time and a second trip is made and with hope there will be more in stock not spoiled. The dog food aisles gets empty regularly and ordering is just a headache and shipping is prohibitive. And, often the store has only one staffer at a register. When the store first opened, it seemed to be more efficient. Now, if you want to visit an absolutely easy store to navigate and with clear aisles and clean and organized and helpful staff, take the trip over to the Jamul TSC Store. You will be pleasantly surprised. I must say that at the El Cajon Store, there are some cheerful staff and helpful but my opinion is that they are just stretched thin and over-worked. I do hope to see some changes as TSC in El Cajon has many good products and prices and I spend a lot of money there annually. Thank you.

Friday afternoon we strolled into our local Tractor Supply store in El Cajon, CA. Your employee Payge went above and beyond to help us pick out exactly what our little family wanted for baby chickens! She ensured we left with every possibly supply we needed to start this journey! Thank you so much for giving us the confidence to raise these little chicks and keep up the stellar work!

This is mainly for one certain employee. I have worked there about two years ago and somethings had happened that don’t need to be said on the internet with Janett twindell. Today I went in and when I was leaving she walked past me with another coworker in front of a customer and said “it’s to bad you burned your bridge with me sweetie” in front of coworkers and customers. I didn’t say anything to her I just left. But I feel this is VERY unprofessional of her to do at work. Sorry for the one star for the store because I love the others that work there, but this matter needed to be brought up. To add to it the coworker asked what happened and she proceeded to tell him the story. Otherwise I love this store and the other employees are so sweet ♥️
