Had my sons birthday here last night and I have to say am glad I didn't read the reviews. Marquis was the best server ever. Very attentive and great with helping us out even though we didn't reserve an actual party space. Marquis needs a promotion because he really went above and beyond. My family and I will be coming back.
My kid love it here. Perfect place for me to spend time with her. The manager is super awesome. She brought Chucky for my daughter and this other little girl. Thank you!

This was the best Chuck E Cheese I every been too. I hate how it got shut down. I went they alot as kid. My little brother love going through. The food was pretty good but the Wing's were the best the games are fun for all ages. I the Works were awesome and really nice

My nephew attended his friend's birthday party here recently. I have to say that my family has lived in El Monte 32 years and had birthday parties here as kids ourselves. I've seen this Chuck E Cheese go through all its changes and it really has become a nice spot. This is in fact the nicest it has been in 32 years. It is divided into 2 halves. One side for younger children and the other with more mature games. Merry go round vs arcade games. Our pizza was well made and the staff was super polite and friendly. The days of tokens are long gone and all your game money is stored on a tap card. You can return the card at the end of your visit for a piece of candy. The prize booth is very much the same and the game machines still dispense tickets. I was pleased with how clean the dining room was as well as the bathrooms being well taken care of. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy but not annoyingly crowded. There is plenty of parking as this is a shared lot in a small strip mall. Be sure to take advantage of the birthday club for special offers.
Took nephew here. His first time ever. It a lot better that you can buy unlimited game play for a certain amount of time. Also like that you don't have to use the dirty tokens no more you use a card. They also got better toys when you cash in tickets than I remember them having.
Place itself could use a remodel. Need better games that actually work. This one is in a smaller location, not too many tables. Staff always changes, always hit or miss. Food also hit or miss, depends on who is on duty that day :/ kids love it tho. They always have fun regardless of how many working games they actually play.
