If i could give this place more stars i would. I love it hands down the best burger place in el paso i always order the border burger w bacon and and egg. The staff is super friensly and very attentive and i love the red beers from here as well. Best appetizer the cannon balls.
I was pleasantly surprised that they had both a black bean burger and a portabella mushroom cap as vegetarian options; not many burger places do, unfortunately. They had several options as far as salad dressing went, too, and the lemon vinaigrette was good! The only thing amiss out of the whole experience was when I got my salad, and it had bacon pieces on it! It was quickly remedied, though. I recommend this quaint joint off the beaten path, and they have quite the selection of beer, including local IPAs!
Truffle parmesan garlic fries (l think that's what they're called on the menu)-the best I've had in El Paso! The burger was absolutely delicious and I did take away! Highly recommend!
I have made this burger joint my Friday night hangout, cold beers, delicious chicken wings, the best burgers and friendly waitresses. The best is the prices you can't beat the deals here.

Everyone is friendly. Food is Fantastic. I recommend Ahi Burger, Kimchi Burger and full meat jacket bullets but order anything on the menu and you wont be disappointed. Its all great!!!

Omg let me tell you about Phreds Border Burger Bar! The food is absolutely delicious I can’t wait to go back and try different things. My husband got the bacon cheeseburger. I got the pulled pork. My son got hot and honey hot wings! Oh and the cannon balls are to die for! And did I mention the service and the atmosphere!!!! If you haven’t been you need to get there!
One of my favorite burger places in El Paso due to their variety. For this particular visit we had the Pacific Islander and the Korean, and my favorite of the two was the Korean. Size wise it is about the average burger size, but you can customize your burger all you want wish is always a nice detail.
Service was attentive and friendly and I really enjoyed that the atmosphere had music and TV's around the establishment, yet it wasn't loud to the point of having to raise your voice to have a conversation like other places.
My only comment would be that we asked for the burgers to be medium rare, but they came a little well done. Other than that totally recommended!

Visiting my Daughter and family in El Paso and we stopped in for lunch. WOW! Food was delicious. Best fried pickles I've ever ordered. The El Pasoan burger was delicious. One of the best burgers I've ever ordered, as well. The truffle fries were incredible as well. Definitely recommend!
Best burgers I’ve ever had! I ordered a Kimchi burger and it’s so good my SO ordered a salmon burger and it was cooked to perfection both were juicy and full of flavor. They have the best sweet potato fries and onion rings I’ve ever had also.Highly recommend. I can not! Rave about this place enough Food was ready on time too.
I wish I had known about this place sooner! The atmosphere and friendly service was exceptional! My waitress was very attentive and since this was my first time visiting she recommended a few of her favorite options. My appetizer fries were so ridiculous good and filling all on themselves! Most places that add a meat to a side dish like a baked potato or fries in this instance, they always skimp out on said meat, but these guys loaded it with this great tasting pulled pork! Good job on that BBB! Now the burger, 10/10!! Presentation made me salivate even more!! Took my first bite and I was in juicy burger heaven! The Border Burger is definitely one to try out. Heed my advice! The sweet potato fries were perfectly fried and tasted like a high five in your mouth. All in all, why are you still reading this review?! Get to this place quick!!
I've been wanting to try this place and I'm glad I did. I got the classic burger with cheese and truffle fries and it was really good and tasty! Seriously! The price is great too for the quality of food you're eating! The atmosphere was nice and the promptness was actually very impressive on the cook! I'll admit the service wasn't too good on the waitress, could've been a little friendlier, but overall... The food is what counts and this place has good food. Can't wait to go back and try more items on their menu.

It was that time of the month when you just need a burger, you know what I mean? And I didn't want a fast food burger either. So I looked up burger joints and here we came! Started with the trio appetizers (fried pickles, cannonballs, and mozzarella sticks), and the cannonballs (fried LOADED mashed potato!) were great, by contrast the mozzarella sticks just fell apart. The burger options were AWESOME! There was a burger representing almost every culture, how awesome is that! I'm coming back to try the bulgogi burger for sure, but I tried the Coloradan and my wife had the surf and turf burger. I can happily endorse both. The one downside is there was only one employee working the entire floor and service was a bit slow.
Fried pickles were a little salty, but the pulled pork sandwich made me forget about that completely. It was delicious! It's definitely worth a try, and I would definitely come back for more

As soon as I walked in, the staff was smiling and ready to seat us. Our waitress, Christian, was extremely courteous and looked happy to help. For someone who had never been here, she helped me around the menu and opened me up to options that I didnt think I would love. But I did. The combo appetizer was incredible. The lemon pepper wings were crispy, the pickles were perfect, the mushrooms were great and the fried mozzarella was delightful. When the main course arrived it looked wonderful and tasted even better. The fries were salted perfectly and were fresh. The burger was juicy and flavorful, though it dripped quite a bit. The bun was perfectly toasted and buttered and went perfectly with the fresh burger. Overall, this establishment has a comfortable and upbeat atmosphere, a wide array of options for both food and beverages, and the way the lights are slightly dim with the natural lighting from outside makes the whole place complete. I highly recommend eating here or getting a drink, and this place will be seeing me again.
This is a great little burger joint and pub. The waitress was amazing and attentive and the food was great. It wasn't too busy - that was nice. The music selection was superb and the sweet potato fries were to die for. We ordered the pacific islander burger and the DC oinker burger. They were both fantastic. Wish we'd found this place some!
I'm from the other side of town, but discovered this great place when I was looking for a place near work. Did not disappoint!! Burger selection is quite large with a variety of flavors and unique combinations so everyone is sure to find something they will like! There are options with chicken and different salads as well. Atmosphere is nice, service is quick and great. Came here several times for the duration I was working on this side of town.
Good burgers mushrooms and oinker fries but the patties need more seasoning but overall pretty good server Priscilla handled us well thank you!!
The best. Excellent service and amazing fresh food. One of the best dining experiences I've had in quite some time. Definitely will be returning. Maybe weekly.
