First off I would like to preface this by saying we’ve only eaten in the diner once and the review was alright, decent but this review is mainly for the pies, these things are ridiculous 1. I’m not going to lie to you these things are expensive for us poor people 2. It’s up to you to decide whether they are worth the price 3. These pies are an experience! I highly recommend everyone to try these things at least once, cause dang they certainly seem to have gotten the recipe locked down tight So far we’ve tried the New York cheesecake, key lime, and Caramel Pecan Silk Pies and they were all amazing but again a bit pricy for my taste but for sure each one did not disappoint These things are the peak of Pie perfection, you’ll definitely notice the difference in taste between this high grade savory goodness and your run of the mill Walmart pie, it’s like a regular steak vs an A5 Wagyu from Japan, there’s no comparison, so if you’re looking for an experience please get one for yourself and do not forget to savor the moment!!!

Extremely similar to village inn except they serve beer and wine so that’s a plus! It’s a great place to have breakfast with family and friends. It’s good for large groups. Or if you just wanna have some coffee and a slice of pie, this place is a good option. Although they do serve alcohol, this isn’t a place I would go to if I just wanted to drink a beer or two. I’d feel a little judged, haha. Other than that, their pies are delicious…just like village inn.

Just the best. I love an old fashioned diner, and this is definitely that. Great selection of foods, especially breakfast. And the pies.... OH MY gosh. Chocolate Pecan silk pie is heaven.

Very friendly and quick service--even for a busy evening. We wanted to check this place out since we had not been before. We had a very friendly, efficient waiter and the food came out very quickly. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely go back. A great place to go if you're in the mood for breakfast. Highly recommend the New Mexico steak and enchiladas plate!

Friendly fast service .. the food was really good .. I was impressed with my slice of ham .. it was actually a thick and big slice .. I was eating breakfast at lunch time on a Monday and it wasn’t busy like a Sunday morning which was great .

I love this place. Good food, good service, good atmosphere. Can't beat breakfast any time of the day...followed by a piece of great pie!

Buttersmiths consistently has REMARKABLY quick service, even when crowded. It's rare for my partner and I to wait more than 10 minutes after giving our order to receive our food. Some of their breakfast dishes could use some more seasoning (namely the hash browns and eggs), but by and large we've enjoyed everything entree we've tried.

Had the chicken fried steak breakfast with eggs, hash browns and pancakes. It was all pretty good and fairly priced. I would say the meal I had is something similar to what you could get at a lot of breakfast spots with there being a little flair on the chicken fried steak. I also got a whole coconut cream pie here also, 9/10 definitely recommend atleast trying a slice of it.

Stopped in for breakfast & was served by Ethan. Ethan was great. He took the time to make sure my breakfast was exactly how I wanted & it was delicious.

Butter Smith are by far my favorite diner pancakes. The quality of the food and the service is consistently great without the obnoxiously long wait times of an IHOP or VI.

My wife and I used to love going to the Village Inn at South Desert and Mesa off of I-10. Now it's, Butter Smith Kitchen. At first I was hesitant to eat there but my wife wanted to try it out. Well, I'm glad she talked me into going there because I was totally surprised. I had been craving some red enchiladas with two eggs overeasy and I wasn't expecting this restaurant to offer it in their menu. Boy, was I wrong. They had this dish along with other breakfast selections. Of course, I asked for my dish I was craving and it was delicious. The red chile sauce was perfect. Try it out you will love this place. My wife and I will definitely be going there for breakfast from now on.

Food is good in the mornings , we don’t like to go in the evenings and ask for breakfast food they don’t make it the same, over all is great 👍🏼 the breakfast enchiladas with sour green sauce are the best there are not in the new menu but I think you can still order them
