By far the best Italian food in El Paso! Very interesting place. Speakeasy theme, creepy and so cool! literally felt like we were walking underground, hushed dark vibes, like we were dining with the mobsters and Mama was cooking, Frank Sinatra playing over head... I loved it! Every room was more intriguing! I highly recommend this place. I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious menu!!
Atmosphere is great kinda freaky for the first time walking in through the back entrance. The staff is great and very friendly we got there and were seated in less than 5 minutes. It was a hour after they opened so that is probably why. The menu is simple but the best choices are available. Food is delicious and everything is home made. The only thing i will ask for next time is slightly more pasta for my chicken parm, only because I love pasta. You walk out of there just perfect, never holding your stomach gasping for breath. I will return for more great food and people.
Have been coming here since it has opened and in my opinion... best Italian food in El Paso!! We went for Valentine's Day and had such a lovely meal of delicious chicken Parmesan and the bread is AMAZING! My mouth is watering just thinking about it:) The owners are super sweet and Mrs. B greets everyone with a smile always. You feel at home as soon as you walk in. And the ambiance is fantastic!! The time and energy and creativity it took to put everything together is outstanding. There is no other place like this in El Paso and strongly suggest everyone give this place a try:)
After calling it "our place" for over a year and never even visiting, (we just liked the stories about it) we finally went and had the best time. Service was fantastic and the detailed work put into the theme was amazing! The bread is addicting. We also had the chance to meet Gary, the owner, and he was just the nicest guy. Can't wait to go back and also try out the new venture Wrap and Roll!
First time being there and it was more than amazing. The food is beyond delicious. The service was amazing and the restaurant itself is over the top exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be going back .... I have found my new favorite place and it put all my other favorite places to shame. Nothing compares to this I'm so in love.
we went to this restaurant with the family on Saturday.., WOW what an amazing experience. The food was delicious, Julie our waitress was spectacular!!!! Totally recommend this place to dine
We went here tonight and the food and service was great. Loved the tour at the end and the history of the haunting. I would highly recommend this place if you are in El Paso. A really cool place to go especially for all of my friends that travel down here from Michigan
I haven't been here in a while. Love their food but the last time we were there one of the lovely ghost scared my daughter and myself while going to The restroom. The waitress was awesome, she told us acouple of stories and example that the ghost will turn of the stove. Well for our luck the giant cookie that we odered for dessert didn't finish cooking do that the oven turned off jijijiji. I really want to go back buy might take a lot of me lol
The staff was great, the food was amazing, the rolls to die for! And then we got to take a tour and hear the history of that building. Really cool stories and I will most definitely make it a regular date spot for my love and i
Awesome unique restaurant. Will definately return. Very nice staff and lots to see. Delicious food. Well worth our drive from Las Cruces.

Don't let the haunted history of this place fool you by thinking the restaurant is "cold as ice"! The staff and owners are some of the nicest and warmest people you will ever meet in town. Great Italian food too! They were nice enough to accommodate my husband and I with our friends to a larger table during 'Dining with the Dead' night even though my friends weren't on the guest list. We appreciated their willingness to accommodate all of us together and they definitely made the night worth to remember. Gary and his wife are great people to chat with and make you feel like family. We will most definitely come back VERY soon!
Great atmosphere, food is delicious since it is homemade style, staff is super friendly, and the ghost stories are excellent!!!
This place is said to be haunted and they have scary items in the restaurant and they serve you in a very dim dining area. Great atmosphere.
Really cool and unique atmosphere, I can’t believe I’ve lived here so long and had no idea this place was here. Our server Julie was so sweet and welcoming. Live music was also awesome and he took several of our requests. Will be back!!

How did I not know about this place!?
We originally were trying to get the Italian restaurant, but they were closed for their Murder Dinner Mystery Rehearsal, another surprise about this place!
So we tried their Americana Diner, and their Cheeseburgers and Chili Cheese Dogs tasted amazing!
It's set in a fun carnival theme traveling cart, so seating is tight, recommended for pairs or groups willing to split. One side is regular tables while the other is vintage roller coaster chairs!
The food is served in Chinese Takeout boxes, which adds to the bizarre!
And the bathrooms is filled with creepy clowns and a creepy mannequin prop hiding in the shadows across the toilet!
I've also learned they do OUTDOOR FILMS featuring vintage horror!!! Yaaaas!
So all in all, a TRUE HIDDEN GEM OF EL PASO, as this place is not set in a traditional building, but in the old neighborhoods not far from downtown.
Reservations Required for Dinner Theater and Outdoor Film!
I will return! Thanks!
Very nice place something different. From any other restaurant. It has its own unique style. The food was good the service was excellent. There was a bit of a wait not a lot but the food was being freshly made. So it was worth the wait.
Great food, staff was very nice! Be sure to bring cash or have the cashapp to pay. The atmosphere is so neat! We're definitely going back to see more of the restaurant. It was very busy, so we didn't want to walk around too much, as the building is small and we didn't want to crowd other diners. But, there are supposed to be really cool settings throughout. Try the lasagna - it's delicious!
It was a good restaurant to try. Had a lot of interesting memorabilia and things to look at. The staff was very friendly and shared stories about the haunted encounters they have had at the establishment. It's a small local restaurant so when we arrived a lot of items we wanted to try were all gone. I am looking forward to going back and trying the dishes that were out when we went and hopefully give them another star making this place a 5 star rating. The kids loved the food and atmosphere.
It was superb. The last time we were here was our date night on the last weekend of October. It was a dinner and a movie special with limited seating. The lasagna was extra cheesy. I recommend the sample of appetizers in case your unsure. You can tell from the mass produced corporate Italian cuisine to "from scratch homemade" that Monteleone's props up. We even ordered the bruschetta and the salad with your limited choice of dressing is a decent pairing. We were even surprised that though they ran out of Dt. Coke they had plenty of Coke Zero which is A+++ and the bread rolls....mmmmm freshly made and very limited bread rolls.....if you have some extra marinara sauce from the appetizer platter you better drown that roll in it my brotha cuz it is mmm mmm good.....(sorry Mr. Campbell). Their days of operation is Thurs-Saturday and they have a haunted motel across the street we would love to check out......and actually get to check out from. :D
The staff and the atmosphere are the best part. Julie the manager was amazing. And the live music on Friday was so entertaining!
We just love this place! The environment, good and decor is awesome..however, Julie really made our visit special!! We have added Julie to our list of favs at Monteleone's!
First timer, it was such an awesome experience. The food was delicious, highly recommend the lasagna, the rolls were homemade, fresh salad. Wow, hats off to the chef! The customer service was beyond 10, everyone was so friendly. Checking up on you, making sure you are taken care of. Johnathan(looks a little like Post Malone) gave us a little tour and history. Julie our server was right on point. El Paso restaurants have forgotten what great customer service is about, not Monteleone's. Thank you, will be back soon.
Delicious steak dinner for the production of “Murder in Print”. The cast was phenomenal, they stayed in character, were attentive and involved every guest as part of the production.
ProTip: 1 bottle of wine per two guests and make sure you visit the restroom
