My expectations were pretty low, I'll admit. I thought it was a bar that also serves food. I am happy to report that our experience far surpassed my expectations! We were there at the height of the dinner hour. Four adults & a toddler for dinner. Our server Liliana was wonderful! She was very attentive, without being pushy. We never felt rushed at all though the place was packed. The menu choices were extensive & everything we ordered was excellent! We will most definitely go back again!
This place is amazing! Eric the manager, Sandy the Bartender, Lili the server...the list goes on and on! Not to mention the incredible food which is a throwback to when Bennigan's was all over the place! Glad I found this gem which is attached to Holiday Inn! I will be back for sure!

We had the best service ever. He was also on up of everything. The best part our food was severd fast and hot. I will definitely recommend this place.
The bartenders were very friendly and attentive. Drinks were awesome. I ordered the monte cristo sandwich and it did not disappoint!
It was our first time visiting Bennigan's in Elgin and it was a great experience. The food that we ordered was cooked to perfection, especially the Barramundi and our server/waiter Dan was ever attentive to our needs. All-in-all a great experience and we will certainly be coming back.
We just love Bennigan's. Food is great, atmosphere is terrific and the service was awesome. We drive over an hour to get thefe, but well worth it 💚
Since the last location closed in the Chicago area I had no idea that one was remaining in Elgin till yesterday. I wasted no time and visited the restaurant today. It was fantastic and brought back lots of memories. Not only was the food excellent the staff was outstanding. I have been Visiting Bennigan's since the early 80s and was very upset when the restaurants closed in Chicago. Felt like a little kid when I found out this location was still open. Can't wait to revisit. Thank you Erik and Brianna for being so welcoming.

I had too much of a great time here. Julius our server was great. The French ale and the legendary monte cristo were my pick for the night. It's a shame there aren't more bennigans around anymore
Had the best fried cod fish. Yummy. 💖 My hubby had the chicken tenders and loved them. Service was very good. Will defiantly be going back.

Every time I go there, it doesn't disappoint. The food is always good, the service good, the managers good. We were staying at a nearby hotel for 5 months and frequented Bennigan's almost once a week, and tried several menu items...all were delicious!
