Great pizza place. Very unassuming venue but once we got inside, it was awesome. Great selection on food and beer. Very cool place!
The pizza here is fantastic and it's a quick stop off 290 to get a cold beer and a hot pizza 🍕 check out there selection of drinks and inovative pizzas! Truly a gem of Elgin!
Aviator is my go-to place for hands-down the best pizza around, and has been for many years. The staff are friendly and efficient, the indoor dining is spacious and easily lends itself to social distancing even whilst accommodating a goodly number of customers. As I'm not a beer-drinker, I cannot comment on the quality of their beer, but the beer menu appears to feature a large and varied selection. Whenever I'm craving a pizza, I call Aviator. I don't even bother with the others, even though they're closer. Why gamble on the also-rans? It's Aviator for me and mine.

My wife and I were driving home from Austin on Father's day looking for something to eat. I was craving pizza, so she lit up when she saw a sign for some outstanding pizza from Aviator Pizza coming up in two exits.
We decided on an 18" to share and went with the pepperoni and basil with black olives. The cashier, and sole employee on the front side, was very friendly and humored us as we decided through the menu. Nothing really special there, but not everyone handles our humor or weirdness, so props to her. The pizza arrived shortly (plus for time) and we dug in. It was very tasty and the crust was very satisfying. I can't quite pin the taste, but it seemed like a home-made or high end dough because the taste lingered, and in a good way. It was one of my favorite crusts. The rest of the pizza was great as well and ranks up there with the best. Aviator Pizza is nowhere close to where I live, but if I take a road trip to Austin again, I will certainly make it a point to stop in. I'd go so far to say it would be worth leaving the city limits to get some better pizza.
What a gem; lucky Elgin! We are from out of town and decided to give Aviator a try. What a great decision!
The food is so fresh. They made the dough and prepare the ingredients in house and it sure shows. So much delicious flavor!
And the pizzas come to you looking like a picture out of a magazine. They are full of ingredients spread evenly around the pizza.
They have 20 options on tap and super happy they carry an Eastcider.
I wish it wasn’t an hours drive but we will be back. Definitely want to try the salads and pastas next time.
The owner definitely takes such pride in his business and he is so welcoming. He greeted everybody that came through the door and also said good bye to each of us.
Great place for some food whether you want to dine in or bring it home. They've got great staff too - we have to restrain ourselves or we would go every weekend. Good selection of beer and great food.

Delicious pizza! We order takeout from here often as well. The wings and beer selection are great. Can't wait for them to carry Circle Brew and offer delivery!
