Friendly bartenders and staff. Cozy atmosphere. Nice selection of beer- on tap and bottles. Also a nice variety of whiskey. Good bar munchies. Nice spot for a weekday date. I dropped my iPhone, a nice patron turned it in. Marcy an amazing bartender, put it aside for me to pick up the next day. I cannot express how thankful I am for such an honest and caring staff at this great pub. I will continue to recommend and visit my favorite neighborhood bar

Been living in Elizabeth for 10 years never been to this place, first night I go great service and great atmosphere my bartender was Mike and Gina and they were amazingly friendly good music an amazing food.
It's family w/o being family. With bartenders like Pat, Marcy, Gee, Garry,Eric, Tony, and I'm sure I missed a few (sorry)& the AMAZING cooks. Chapo, Steve& John this place is just all ur cravings in 1 spot. Don't miss out. Mike has kept this place original.

I was looking for a beer and burger while staying at the airport hotel in Newark.
Nugents was absolutely fantastic! John made on of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. The wings were superbly crispy and tender.
I was kind of expecting a local dive bar with typical bar food. Far from it!
Teresa was bar tending and she was easy going and personable.
While absolutely not fancy, the food, drink, and service was top notch.
Highly recommended!!!

From the second I walked in the door until the time came for me to say goodbye I can't recall feeling more welcomed at any place across the nation than I did right here at Nugents.
Aside from the instant comaraderie the food was ASTONISHING. As Steve told as I perused the menu "the burgers are life changing". Well. After munching down The Nuge, an absolutely delicious mushroom and Swiss with bacon and grilled onions...I am a changed man.
Thanks Steve. And Chris and his cousin and....was it Micky(?) the barender for making my shirt time at Nugents memorable.
This place was great, food was good, however the hospitality was the best. I would come back to this place in a heartbeat. Sean or Shawn, the resident expert of the bar was great. 100% would come to this place just for the people. Even got a couple of shots out the deal Angel's envy was damn good.
Great bar, the burgers are AMZING. They have daily specials and the staff and all the people there were so friendly. Can't wait to come back!

My sister and I went there for the first time last night and truly enjoyed ourselves. The bartender, Mickey, was friendly and made great drinks. Chef Shady has me wanting to try everything on the menu. A laid back spot to de stress.
