La Fogata has the best Colombian empanadas I have ever eaten, they are always consistent. No other place can compare in my opinion. Their food is also delicious and the staff is really nice.

The margaritas were very good. Their empanadas were also delicious. The service was great. But the food (main course) wasn't as good as everything else. Gotta give it another try.

La Fogata is one of the best Colombian Restaurants in New Jersey, absolutely delicious food, great service and fair prices, I love Bandeja Paisa, sancocho, empanadas, and all their bakery products...so fresh and tasty food.

Was recommended to go here by a Colombian friend. Finally tried it last night and boy we were full! We ordered empanadas colombianes/colombian empanadas (not pictured since they were already in our tummies), arepa pabellón/corn cake stuffed with beef, cheese, avocado, sweet plantain & black beans, entraña a la parilla/grilled skirt steak and bandeja paisas/grilled steak, rice, beans, sausage, fried pork skin, egg, avocado, sweet plantain & corn cake. I have to say, I think they have the best bandeja paisas that I’ve tried so far. Just a side note, if you are non-Spanish speaking, there might be a slight language barrier. It’s not a big deal though because their menu has English translation. Other than that, the food was great! I still wish they had pan de bono/Colombian cheese bread when we went though - I love those!
