Wow! Great atmosphere & meals. Mac & brisket was loaded with brisket & bacon & excellent flavor. Husbands grouper sandwich was huge & delicious! Sushi appetizer fantastic & beer selection great! First time to new location & it is great. Alex was a super server-very knowledgeable & johnny on the spot. Will be back! �
The food selection is something. You can get sushi, BBQ, seafood, or steak! I had the sushi and steak and it was excellent! Service was fast, especially for he crowd they had on a Tuesday! If I come back to Elkhart, I’d definitely eat here again.
Wow..... everything I ordered was fantastic! Sushi was fresh and exploding with flavor..including my meal. My new favorite place!!
I have never had a bad meal or drink. The Chubby vibe is always good! The only way it could be bad, is if you choose to bring the negativity with you.
One of the most interesting places I have been in a while. Sports on TV’s everywhere and really delicious food! Can not go wrong with Sushi, real Walleye, seafood and smoked prime rib! I will be back!

First time eating here, we were recommended by some regulars to try their calamari. So we ordered it. May I just say... perfect textures. Crunchy and chewy perfection.. then I had the Holy Cow with fries and the Red Dragon. The sushi was AMAZING. I almost at the whole thing and left my partner with only 2 lol.
Then their sandwich, I was disappointed with the dryness. I asked for BBQ sauce and took away the bun, and it was perfect.
My experience was great and personally their seafood is definitely where it's at.

The Chubby Trout is a 10/10, without a doubt. We were seated right away out on the patio. Their menu selection has plenty of options without being overwhelming, and our waitress, Jordan, was very friendly and attentive. The sushi was fantastic, and I highly recommend the Mess O' Perch as an entree. Overall, we had an excellent experience.
We're from out of town and stayed at one of the hotels next to this restaurant. So happy we decided to try it - we thought it was just convenient, but it is seriously some of the best food I've had. Two of us split Fishin' of the Pier Favorites and a dynamite roll. We were able to have it delivered directly to the hotel since it was so close and I was so impressed with the quality, from the taste and preparation of each fish, to the homemade sauces that came with it - delicious. I was also highly impressed with the dynamite roll - didn't expect such great quality and taste from a non-Japanese restaurant!

First off.. DON'T let the name fool you. I almost didn't want to try the place thinking it was primarily seafood. My assumption couldn't have been more wrong. Awesome BBQ, Steak, Sushi. Their menu has something for everyone! Katie was our waitress. Super friendly with great service. We're definitely going back for more before we have to return home.
This is my first time at Chubby. I've heard great things, but pictured something totally different. The outside waiting area is fantastic, especially with it being winter. Heaters were more than sufficient. Once we got in the staff was absolutely awesome! The Chubby Trout was very well staffed, and the food was delicious. I can't wait to go again.
Such a wonderful place! Very great and clean atmosphere. Food was so wonderful and of high quality. Fiancee could taste the smoke on his perfectly cooked prime rib. The service was so wonderful, happy employee's making you feel welcome and not just another customer. I really liked that the manager came around to tables like us that had never been here before and made us feel oh so welcome and appreciated. Best service and food I've had in 2020. Definitely worth the drive from Michigan.
