We have visited twice for brunch. This place is absolutely adorable and the food is simply amazing. Big shout out to the chef. The service team for brunch both times have been a young crew who appear to not have a huge amount of serving experience- not in a negative way at all just obvious. What I find charming is that what they lack in experience they make up for in heart. You can truly feel their desire to make your meal better and to get it right…. And they do it very well. Be patient, be nice, be a good customer. Jason has served us twice and perfect both times. The food speaks for itself. Elegantly presented, great flavor, and fresh! We can’t wait to try dinner or one of their special events.

I've been to this place two times now and for two different special occasions. If you're looking for a spot that is good for a special occasion, this is the place! It's a small restaurant and event space that gives off an old English vibe. They have an amazing brunch and fantastic dinner menu. The staff is equally as amazing as the restaurant itself. Please do yourself a favor and make reservations here. I promise you'll have a great meal and a great time!

I took myself on a solo dinner date for my 28th birthday. The staff was incredibly sweet, and the food was amazing! I ordered the Game Duo for the main and Morel Mushrooms for the side. I also ordered the Hazelnut Tart w/ Fig Ice-cream for dessert. They actually gave me a candle to blow out and a glass of complimentary champagne too!

The food was great and the environment was nice and cozy. Between the bartender, host, waiter, waister’s assistant, and Chef Dan himself, everyone was super attentive and made us feel right at home—professional and personable at the same time. The food and drinks were delicious, and the recommendations from the staff were much appreciated! The Cream of Baltimore Soup was particularly delicious.

We had this tarte with homemade ricotta, cherry tomatoes and balsamic drizzle.
I had the steak and was given the option to add a crab cake to my dinner since I couldn't decide between the two. My fiance got the Wagyu Burger with grits!

I took my mom there for her 80th birthday. Wonderful ambiance. Delicious food. Beautiful area. Great service. Friendly staff. My only complaint (very small one) is that the waiter was a bit inexperienced. But overall, a top notch experience and well worth the extra $ to eat there.
I will definitely be returning.

Very nice and intimate spot in a piece of local Maryland history. The grounds are beautiful for large events, like weddings, and just as cozy for a romantic date for two. My wife and I had a nice little table just across from their fireplace. A fine selection of wines and creative mixed drinks. The food was delicious! I had a 10 oz flat iron steak with a coffee and cocoa rub that was cooked to perfection! Would definitely go back and would encourage anyone and everyone, especially locals, to try this place out!

I have to say, I truly enjoyed this dinner tonight. Our server was top notch with excellent suggestions. We were able to sit outdoors and enjoy the beautiful garden as we ate.
The food was spectacular. The rockfish was right on point and the NY strip was heady deliciousness. I have to say this was the best NY strip I've ever had. It didn't even have the large fatty piece down the side. The truffle butter took it over the top and the fresh sage gave it the perfect bitter bite.
Their mocktails are amazing. The bartender made up this Skittles drink that blew me away.
I love the fact the restaurant cares for their guests, has their staff wearing masks, and separates out tables. I think their approach is stellar.
I can't wait to go back! This was our first outing here and I'm already itching for my next one!

Hidden treasure, It was my wife's birthday and everyone made the day very special. We enjoyed the food so much. From appetizer, soup, and main course to dessert, all the food was exquisitely prepared and exhibited layers and depth of flavor. We even got food to go after our full meal. I travel all over the world every month and this food is comparable to high end fine dining internationally. It is definitely for people who value quality over quantity. This place is the type of restaurant we have been seeking for 10 years in the Ellicott City area and we were surprised to find that it has been in Elkridge for over 20 years. It is only 15-20min. from Columbia and Ellicott City.

Beautiful place,excellent staff, lousy steak. I was there with my beautiful wife Debbie tonight. Hoping for a wonderful experience. Ordered the 16oz cold smoked ribeye steak. So stringy it was really hard to cut and so chewy I just gave up. Very disappointing

We went to dinner for my father-in-laws birthday. From the moment we walked in the maitre’d took great care of us and had great insight on different wines. Our waiter, Brian, explained the menu very well and answered all our questions. Chef came around to check on us not once, but twice, which made the evening more special. He told us all about the organic gardens they run on site and all the local farms that deliver to them. It was an evening that we won’t soon forget. Thank you again to the all the staff.

My husband took me here for my Birthday and it was amazing! I was recently diagnosed with certain diet restrictions and the chef came up with a special meal just for my issue. It was delicious. He even prepared a dessert too! We sat at a quaint table by the fireplace. The ambiance, the food, and the service was wonderful. We can’t wait to go back!

Hidden gem few min from home. New to the area so this was a great firsts find for us! Beautiful old Inn with tons of character and beautiful gardens. The atmosphere was tranquil and homey, service impeccable and the food!!!! We ordered a great bottle of French wine, I has the seafood sun dried tomato risotto and my husband had the game duo of rabbit and stuffed quail. App was the very different assorted mushrooms gratin and desert macchiato creme brûlée and key lime mint cheesecake not much else could fit in! We will definitely be back.
