Review Pizzarelli's New York Style - Ellisville

Delicious pizza! My wife and I live about 5-10 minutes away and had never heard of this place until recently. We decided to give it a shot tonight and we both absolutely loved it - the pizza and the cheese sticks. We will definitely be back.

This pizza is pretty good. I got the margarita pizza I was supposed to have sausage but didn’t and I didn’t care for the tomatoes being so big. It satisfied my craving for a margarita pizza tho & I will return maybe for a dine in next time!

We really liked this place the first time we went here, but the next time they lied about a coupon not being 'for their restaurant.' I explained that they had accepted the same coupon earlier this year. They insisted that it was a "fake coupon." I called back to complain about the experience and the girl on the phone literally said to me, "Next time just call Dominos." These people are liars and the wait time is outrageous. I would go ahead and pass on ordering food from this dump. Hour and a half wait to pick up food and be disrespected. Guess I'll just go to Dominos next time, because they're good people.

Wow! Best, pizza in St. Louis. The pricing is insane. Chicago deep dish DELUXE, toasted ravioli, two kids meals and a drink - $45. The amount of food we got would feed a family of ten easily... No joke.

This place is truly amazing. The staff is very family-like, friendly and fun to talk to. The pizza was some of the best I've had in a long time. Highly recommend this place.

First place around Saint Louis where I’ve had Chicago style thin crust (sometimes called tavern style) that honestly felt like a place back in Chicago. Very good. Excited to try the other types.

Pizza is great & it is hot :) , right out of the brick oven. The staff was very kind. The restaurant could have been cleaner. There are no bathrooms

Not good oizza. I grew up in St. Louis, lived in Brooklyn N.Y. for three years and New Jersey for three years. I'm not sure what kind of pizza place they are trying to sell themselves as but they are neither St. Louis style nor East Coast style pizza. Rather they are a horrible hybrid of pizza that is thin, limp, usually under done, with a bland sause, that they use too much of, and quite stingy with their toppings. Too bad Fox's Pizza closed... They weren't great but they were better than Pizzarellis. Until something better comes along our family will stick with Dewey's where at least you get what you pay for. Pizzarellis is expensive and just not good.

Horrible!. I recently moved back to the area after being gone for over 2 years. Was craving pizza and Pizzarelli's is just across the street from us. We ordered the family meal - pizza, salad and wings, and were we ever disappointed. The salad was good - I don't know too many places that can screw up a salad, the wings were underdone and the pizza...well, we ordered the thin and crispy...it was thin but certainly not crispy. The crust was tasteless, doughy and limp (the pizza was cut in squares and each piece drooped when picked up), the sauce rather bland, toppings were nothing special and rather sparse, and the cheese was thick and chewy. No gooey, yummy, string trailing from your mouth here. This was definitely not a well spent $33.58. They might be the closet to us, but we won't be ordering from here again!

NOT St. Louis pizza. I grew up in St. Louis and do love Imo's and provel. I also love pizza. These guys do a fantastic NY crust. Crispy and chewy...perfect. I have called them back and told them how good the crust was.<br/>Not only do they slice the sausage, but they slice the meatballs, as well. So if you want big chunks of meatball don't order from Pizzarelli's. The sandwiches are great, the pizza is fantastic, the Mrs. enjoys the cannolis. One thing they don't do too well...fries. Hey, they're a pizza joint. A REALLY good pizza joint.

Best Sausage Pizza. Pizzarelli's serves up a New York pizza with a great crust and generous toppings. I'm not usually a fan of Italian sausage on pizza because most pizzarias sprinkle crumbles on the pie. This makes it taste like geasy hamburger. St. Louis loves Salcissa and Pizzarellis does it right. They slice the links lengthwise. The meaty mouthful of salcissa explodes with flavor in every bite. Get the pizza well done so the crust is crunchy.

Love this thick crust. I really enjoy this pizza place. I almost always get the thick crust. I got the thin once and it was good but I love that thick crust especially because it is not like other pizza places where it would be super greasy. They put a generous amount of toppings and cheese. Pizzarelli's is just a little place with some dine in tables, but I either get carryout or delivery and they have a pretty wide delivery area. Plus there is always a lot of coupons. This is some superior pizza.
