Great BBQ. I had the brisket and ribs plate for lunch. Brisket was awesome, ribs were really good. I had the homemade potato chips and beans as sides. Nothing special about those but still slightly above average I suppose. Service was a bit slow considering BBQ is precooked overnight. But the meat made up for it!

Customer service was excellent. Chicken was good. Pretty sure our potato salad had expired, it tasted fishy and terrible. Ribs were extremely dry.... think Sahara desert. Mac n cheese was more like buttered noodles. I would say yes to the chicken.. and stop there really. Pricey sides.... like $8 for a pint of beans. The beer selection looked pretty good.

Thank you Windowsill BBQ for a catering a wonderful end of the season volleyball banquet for the Lafayette Lancers. The food arrived fresh, warm, moist and delicious. The salad was a huge hit, the dressing is a not too sweet complement to the greens and pecans. The chicken had a great smoked flavor and pulled pork is always melt in your mouth. Also I never have to worry about having enough food for all from you guys. Thanks again and keep up the great work.

Good BBQ, Smoked Meats, Sides & Desserts Good thing is that the place is friendly, welcoming, and generally a nice quiet place to have dinner with one to maybe a dozen. The bad thing is EVERYONE in the area KNOWS about this place and its food. So, while you may get lucky and get to eat a late dinner here or try to close the place down, the betting line is that if you don't get here early, reserve a plate for take out or dine in, you may not get to try this wonderful food. Their sides are hit and miss, but the Mac-n-cheese and Rhubarb Apple Sauce are great and spot on every visit. The bbq-beans and most other sides are maybe, or not, to your liking. And if you like real, country style, homemade sausage, you must give theirs a try, think meatloaf slices, not tube stuffed fingerlings, yummy.

My husband and I just came from there Sunday for lunch, very disappointed. Table was dirty, young college or highschool kid was our waiter, only one young kid making our order, never got order correct after sending it back twice. Everything was cold and very dry, I got pulled pork, and onion straws, all cold. My husband got turkey Cobb, after messing up order first time just like mine, second wasn't any better. We hated to pay for something that was sub standard, but we did, but will never go back! Extremely Dissatisfied!

I came in to grab carryout Corned beef and cabbage for St. Pat's. It was some of the best I've ever had, but I doubt I will ever be back. It was super expensive for one and the guy working behind the counter was overzealous and just plain rude. I decided to grab a beer to go and didn't complain when he carded me. But when he laughed in my face and said he knew the ID, I couldn't believe his arrogance. Just because I have an IL license does not mean it is a fake... even after I showed him my credit card with the same name, he still said it was a fake. I really doubt someone under 21 would place an overpriced order for $18 just to get one beer. Luckily the manager/supervisor straightened it out. He did apologize, but if you're going to try and be super strict with carding all IDs, you need to be darn sure you can spot the difference between a fake and a real one. Instead of catching someone underage, you just lose customers with false accusations. Maybe this customer service is why I was the only one there at noon on St. Pat's day.

Have eaten at Woodsmoke previously, but this time I was very disappointed. My wife tried to call in an order while I went to get it. First call she was put on hold/ignore for a long time so she tried to call again and it went to voice mail. When I arrived there were several people in the order line and the register/order gentleman seemed stressed. The only other people there was the chef and a bussboy. When I got to order we found out there were out of the cornbread, which my wife wanted, and it was only 5:30 on a Saturday. When I got home with the food my smoked beef sandwich was about 30 to 40% fat. I got the feeling they gave me this poor cut since it was a carry out. NOT GOOD!!

The ribs were good. Lost a star because they were out of brisket. Service was good. Atmosphere was great: quiet, great music that wasn't so loud you couldn't hear conversations. We'll go back.

Sunday Lunch with Old Friends:<br/><br/>It's not the Two Hour Lunch Guys today it's a group of old friends from NHS  getting together.<br/>Most of us had the Ribs and Brisket Platter some had the Pulled Pork and we all agreed that the food is fantastic.<br/>The bark on the brisket has a pepper taste which is different and very tasty.<br/>The baked beans are good and the slaw has a cucumber taste to it so if your like me and don't like the taste of cucumbers you may want to try something else.<br/><br/>The sauce is a bit smoky and is served on the side for dipping but you may want to try eating without the sauce , the meat has it's own taste and doesn't really need any help.<br/>Over all this is a great BBQ Joint and we all recommend you stop in and try the ribs and what ever else sounds good to you.<br/> <br/>And to all my High School Friends .. It was so nice seeing all of you again hope we do this more often.

Went for breakfast listed on website Sunday. Was told they were out of breakfast. Next computer was not working to take order and charge account. Cashier frustrated asking for manager. Manager had attitude and provided little support. Had to order bbq for breakfast since weekend breakfast was sold out. Food arrived cold, dry and on stale bread. Very little concern for customer satisfaction. I would have walked but I was with my son. Workers all unhappy and unprofessional. We should have been compensated for experience. I will never go back. Too bad as its close to home.

Horrible service, horrible food!. Wishy washy owners can't make up their mind on what they are. Rude pompous servers, ridiculous layout for a restaurant and all you can get is leftover BBQ that has always been dry and tastes re-heated. The pies are sort of OK, but even those have some real issues. But what else would you expect from pretentious West County posers?

Don't waste your time. All our food was cold, fries to salty and the Mac and cheese tastes like a beginner made it.

Chicken was very dry and was not at all smoky. If it were not for the paprika in the rub, it would have had very little flavor. Beans were unique and tasty. Potato salad was good. Bought a coconut cream pie to take...definitely the highlight. Bottom line, there are much better places for smoked meats (bar-b-cue) in the area. Additionally...BBQ joints need a little soul. Windowsills has none...soccer moms in gargantuan SUVs vibe.

This evening we both had an excellent brisket sandwich with cole slaw and baked beans sides. And the counter was manned by a sweet young lady.
