Probably one of the easiest 5-star reviews I've made in awhile. The food was delicious and the service was amazing.
Don't expect run-of-the-mill Mexican fare - these are composed, tapas-style dishes made to share.
I won't do any of the dishes justice by trying to tell you about them in any detail. Just know they're delicious.
The menu changes every 6 months and in Mondays they have a street food menu, and Tuesdays they have taco specials.

"Mexican Culinary Experience" describes this place perfectly! It wasn't just amazing food, attentive and friendly service, beautiful presentation, and relaxing environment; it was an experience that I want to relive again and again. My friends hyped this place up, so I had really high expectations and was not disappointed. You may, like me, be initially surprised that the portion sizes are small for what you're paying, BUT the moment you take your first bite, you understand why. You're not paying for quantity here. The *quality* of each dish is outstanding.

I would give more stars if possible. As a Mexican this place transfer me to my home country, the food and quality of the dishes is amazing but the service is beyond good. I cannot recommend a plate because all of them are great. But adding some pictures

Malinche is simply amazing! Food and drinks are delicious and service is excellent! The atmosphere is pretty nice too, it’s just a happy place. It’s not the “typical” chips and salsa Mexican restaurant which makes it unique and provides you with a real culinary experience. In my opinion, it’s the best Mexican restaurant in St Louis. Definitely try it out!

Melinche was highly recommended so my wife and I stopped in tonight. This place was fantastic because the flavors and presentation created a memorable experience. We like those expensive tasting menus and this place sort of gave a similar adventure into unique and very tasty small plate dishes. If you like Mexican food you really should stop in and try it out.

We have been meaning to try this place for a few years, and it did not disappoint! I can't believe it took us this long to get here! We will absolutely be back. Everything, drinks and food, was so beautifully paired and well though out. The mezcal and saffron cocktail was perfectly balanced. We are absolutely making this hidden gem one of our regulars! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!
