My husband and I love Finn's. We've never had a bad meal there, and we've tried nearly everything on the menu. Our favorite is the crab poppers. :D The fish poppers are also great. And if you want a yummy big meal for a really low price, go for the mac and dogs. We also love the Irish pub atmosphere. Having been to Ireland, it brings back good memories, and they have all our favorite brews from overseas!

Our favorite place to go when we're in Ellsworth! The food is fresh and excellent and the staff, extremely friendly.
The traditional fish and chips are truly 'traditional! And the blackened chicken with fresh mozzarella and a slightly spicy aioli just melted in the mouth.
We have never had a bad meal at Finns. Our server on Tuesday night was wonderful. Burgers 🍔 yummy and finished with the chocolate cake. The only bad thing about Finns, there is almost always a wait at supper time. But that’s because it’s soooo good 🍔
We don’t live close by, but when we come thru town we always stop by because the food is fantastic and the wait staff are awesome! They remember us every time especially when we say” double potato salad! We love the place! Awesome food and drinks!!!!!
Outstanding meal (pub steak and salmon) in a great atmosphere. The barrel aged stout was incredible.

Finns never disappoints. We came in this afternoon for bloodys and scottish eggs, I got some to go food to share with my bf later. I am currently sitting here eating said food, and it is just so delicious - and affordable! A big shout out to the awesome bartenders, who have the best name ever, (hey D's!) :) Finns - thanks for being awesome!
Food, Atmosphere, and Service were great. Finns fish sandwich was tasty and the sticky toffee pudding was a great dessert!
Both the service and the food were fantastic. I would highly recommend Finn's and I can't wait till I can get there again.
I love Finn's! It is the only place I want to go to when I'm in Ellsworth! Though I'm vegetarian, Finn's has the best ever (!) Greek salad & 2 vegetarian wraps! Great ambiance!
Best place in the Ellsworth/ Bar Harbor area. Service was fantastic. Danielle and Jackie best bartenders. Food was outstanding.

Great spicy mussels. Steak and Mushroom Pie was delicious. All topped off with chocolate Guiness cake for dessert. We will definitely be back!
Great dinner and lunch at Finn's! Twice this week 😋 Both servers provided us food recommendations and took good care of us. Meatloaf dinner with potato salad and beets; Irish nachos appetizer (twice so good!), Cork chicken Ruben and friend has the Salt and Pepper haddock dinner with garlic mashed potatoes and beets. We enjoyed everything! Great flavors with the fish and meatloaf and the potato chips in the nachos we're thinking and crispy with bacon, sour cream, jalapenos, salsa and green onions. We had the extra bonus of hearing a few classic rock songs from the live band on Sunday evening too! We will be back for sure.
To say I was so saddened when Finns closed last year is an understatement. When I heard the news that it was back, and nothing was changed I was so excited. I finally was able to make it over there for a lunch date and wow. Not a thing different and the food still absolutely amazing. The service, amazing. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else in this area for a good lunch or beer on tap.
This is one of my favorite places to go. The foods pub fare mostly but many great options. (Irish and American) Good music, great service and has historical significance that goes back to my childhood.

The chicken sandwich was incredibly delicious (if they sold whatever sauce they put on this, I’d buy a bottle). Shannon is a pro— a fantastic server! Wish we lived closer to explore the menu.
First time back after reopening and it did not disappoint, everything was amazing. Awesome Irish nachos, amazing corned beef Reuben, and perfectly cooked pub burger! Highly recommend and we will be back soon!

I always make sure that I get to Finn's when I'm up to Maine. The beer selection is great, and the food is equal to it. Irish Nachos are a meal in themselves, containing all the food groups!
Finn's should be on your list as well!
(OH, and the Reubens are incredible!)
This was a great little spot to have lunch and a very cute downtown area with lots of shopping. I highly recommend coming here and getting the Reuben, it was excellent. I enjoyed the potato salad and would argue that it's much better than the garlic mashed potatoes. My wife would disagree, but she's often wrong.
Visiting from Tennessee and man o man was this place great. I had a party of 4 that all got food. The food was delicious and wonderfully prepared. Service was great and attentive. One member in my party has a gluten allergy and ordered a sandwhich with gluten free bread. The waitress came back to inform her the ingredients on the sandwhich might still have gluten. It was a small detail that showed the waitress really cared about the well being and satisfaction of her customers. I got a guinness and they properly poured it! Some bars don't know the 6 steps to pouring a proper one, but these guys did!
If I'm ever back up this side of the nation I will definitely be back and I will be recommending this place to others!
An enchanting experience. The food was outstanding and the ambiance sublime. Great selection of both good and beverage at a good price. Come out of the cold for a sustaining and enjoyable repast.
