Absolutely amazing little restaurant. What made it even better was our waitress named Justice. She was a SWEETHEART! The best customer service ever. Very kind and attentive. The whole staff was amazing but Justice made our meal even better with her bubbly and genuine personality. We are visiting fro
We loved this place. For reasons I can't remember, we didn't really want to try this place while in town on vacation. We decided to go anyway on our 2nd day in town, and even though we went about 3pm, it was packed, and we had a short wait for a table. I got a burger, and my wife got the Philly chee
Fantastic find. Service was exceptional. I had the fish tacoc with blackened haddock, and my husband had the pot roast sandwich with onion rings and a cup of haddock chowder, and then we each had a slice of pie. I had the banana split, and he had the keylime pie. All were amazing. We have been in th
Calli was a wonderful server! We enjoyed the French onion soup, lobster roll, chocolate cream pie & blueberry cream pie. It’s a very affordable place with good service & really good food! We stopped by on a pretty busy Sunday & sat with very little wait. Everything came out perfectly.
1st day in Maine, had my lobster roll and potato chips. It was presented well. I'm not big on lobster, so it was ok. Also had the seafood chowder which was prepared well, but light on seasoning. I had to add pepper, which never happens. My wife had the fish and chips. Prep was good, but the tartar s
The service was great. Efficient and friendly. On the atmosphere, we felt the AC was too strong, but we were coming from a hike in a very hot day. The food was ok, but it lacked a bit of salt and flavor. The lobster was fresh and good.
Reasonable prices, excellent service even though really busy. A lot of noise as mostly hard surfaces so can be difficult to carry on a conversation if you are hearing challenged. Very accommodating to special orders. My boiled lobster was perfect, mynwife had haddock newburg. My baked potato and
Stopped by for the pie.. it was amazing, definitely worth trying ! Homemade blueberry pie tends to be tart & not very sweet so be sure to order it with ice cream or whipped cream if you want sweet. Only complaint was the coffee was extremely watery.. almost undrinkable.
Helen's is on your way to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. I must apologize for forgetting to take photos of my lasagna dinner. It was so appealing and smelled so good, I forgot about photos. Helen's always has plenty of Daily Specials. On this particular occasion I think there were over 12
I had the prime rib and it was excellent. My wife had Chicken Alfredo and she said it was very good. Service was top notch and very friendly. We escaped Bar Harbor and all the traffic for dinner since it was a holiday weekend.
My husband and I were headed back to Bangor from Bar Harbor and stopped for dinner in Ellsworth at Helen's restaurant. We had their lobster roll, which was fresh and tasty, but our favorite part of the meal was the dessert! We ordered a slice of blueberry pie. We both agreed that it was hands dow
Absolutely fantastic!! The nicest mash ever! Super friendly and great menu! Well worth a visit!!
Went to the small ocecream stand behind the restaurant. The workers were really nice and the icecream was good. They had corn hole and firepits as well as smores kits for sale.
Friendly and comfortable restaurant!! Food serving size, BIG!! Great service!!
Food was really good, 1st time trying a lobster roll. According to the rest of my party their haddock dinners were amazing with plenty leftovers. I didn't take a lot of pics but i loved all the rustic details and antique tools displayed on the walls. One thing i will say, we were not impressed with
Good country food. We had the fried haddock, baked potato, slaw and seafood chowder. We also got a blueberry pie to go. It was all delicious! Pie would have been better heated up, but still good! Great server!
