Had to come to the area for a meeting, had Alison as my server. I didn't know what to have and she suggested the Eggs Benedict. Great choice, recommend it for anyone to try! She also checked in periodically to make sure everything was great. I recommend to ask for her!
Our favorite brunch place! We go there early every Sunday. Staff is so friendly and the food is amazing . Also best coffee ever!!!!
Wow! The food here is amazing! Best omelet I've ever had. Came back a second day and it got even better but not because of the food. Walked in to be greeted by who I'm assuming is the owner, and he asked us about the conference we were in town for. We had only talked for a few minutes about it yesterday but he remembered. Then we sat down to our table and our server from yesterday asks us if we want the same thing from yesterday and proceeds to repeat our order! Now that is customer service!
excellent food and great staff
Great food, very nice staff. Love this place. Try the Country Skillet!
Yummy breakfasts, quick service. The skillets are all so good, I can't pick a favorite! Good sandwiches. All very traditional, but it's a clean, friendly place!
Love The Atmosphere, And Love That They Play Faith Based Music Like K-LOVE!
I come to see pebbles, barbi doll, and Norma Rae. The service is great!!!! Demetri, and Loretta Lynn great people.

ALWAYS a friendly atmosphere with amazing food!!!!
DELICIOUS!!! Every time, fantastic service and a nice atmosphere you can always count on a great meal-- I love it!!
Jaclyn was amazing! She was very attentive and informative. Very pleasant. In today’s society customer service is dwindling away and she brought hope to the industry. I got the Mediterranean omelette and it was amazing. The sourdough toast was perfect. The potatoes were good but cold so that is why I gave a 3 star. Overall experience great! A lot of good for the money spent.
Very friendly. Food was good. Food was fast. We got our food faster then a drive thru. I'll be back.
My girl and I both had the 2+2+2 . She had scrambled . Her eggs were supper runny . She actually had to sop up the liquid with napkins . I had my eggs over easy . They were fine . My buddy had the Ruben said it was good . The pkace was nice . Our waiter was on point . The prices are fair . I would recommend and go back .
Service was excellent. Prices were average. The food was yummy. Reccomend the home potatoes, so flavorful. The guacamole that came with some of the breakfasts was delicious, tasted super homemade. The pictures on the wall really tied in with the restaurant. I loved that the silverware was tied up with yarn. I never even realized this was here, hidden gem tucked in the strip mall.
I’m very pleased with the portions that were given. It very much matched the price. Our sever was very kind and I’m guessing the owner might’ve been there, he was also very kind. He had given my girls some lollipops. I loved the music selection as well, Christian music with some great food! This place is unbeatable! Thank you’ll, God bless!
Ordered with restaurant for To-Go
The Works Omelette
Biscuit and Gravy
Half stack Pancakes
Coffee
Omelette is delicious and pancakes are nice & fluffy and full of flavor
When I entered restaurant I was greeted immediately by a Tall Lean Silver Fox. He was extremely nice, thanked me for my order, and wished me a great day.
I’ll definitely return - Good Food and Nice Guy.
Removed 1 star because I wish Gravy was on the side to prevent biscuits from getting soggy. Still very good
This is a a delightful little diner that has been a staple in the Chicagoland area for over 25 years. The owner regularly remodels the environment for a new modern look every few years. The food is amazing as is the service. They have a special Children’s menu which is always appreciated for those with young children. The feel and princess are small town but the quality of food and service is definitely a family friendly environment.
Me and my friends loved this place! Our waiter was very fun and kind and the hospitality was great. Food was very good and the price was very low. I loved coming here and would come again! Totally recommend.
I had the Mediterranean omelette and it was excellent. My son always ordered two waffles because he loves them so much. The fruit was fresh. The service was quick and friendly. It’s always packed and that is the sign of a good restaurant.
We usually go for breakfast. My go to is the empty nest egg with pancakes and cottage potatoes. It never disappoints! Recently, we went for lunch and I tried the combo with lentil soup and pitobello panini. It also came with a delightful fresh side salad. Really yummy! Very warm friendly atmosphere and attentive helpful staff!
An adorable little restaurant I've never known about that's been around for years. It's actually not little at all. Had brunch with my mom. First off I Love that both of us received our own little carafes of hot water for my tea and coffee for her. More places should do this. To me it created a more welcoming environment of knowing that you were going to be taking care of and also not going to be rushed out the door. For our meals we both tried the sampler. I had French toast, the mile high omelette & the fresh start crepe.
Mom had the French toast, the ham and cheese omelette and the fresh fruit (strawberry) crepe. The French toast was delicious, I would definitely order that again. Not too thick and very flavorful. The mile high omelette was fluffy and delicious. The fresh start was good it came with hollandaise sauce. I've never been a fan of it but it was pretty good. Not overpowering like I've had. The creme had just the right amount of sweet my only issue was the bacon in the crepe was burnt. Mom had pretty much the same thoughts on her meal as well. Loved the fresh strawberries on her crepe. We will definitely be back again & we'll have to bring the rest of the family next time.
I grew up in Elmhurst, and had gone here over the years and always liked the food. Went back for the first time in a few years and it was even better than I remember it. The omelettes are amazing. They put extra cheese in them and some sort of sauce?
But the real highlight was three older men who are regulars at the place, one is a war veteran. They had their newspapers out, chatting sports and life. It was pretty awesome honestly! They talked to the owner, who seems like a really nice guy. My waitress was great too. 5 stars for the food. 5 stars for the ambiance. 5 stars for the service. A true Elmhurst treasure.
This was truly the fresh start we needed we drove 7 hrs through the night to get to Chicago it rained as soon as we got here but this place was amazing staff 10

What a bang for your buck huge portions and the best benedict iv had in ages from one chef to another. I tip my hat sir or mam. Just wow like I cooked it my self!
I went there for a quick lunch before work & ordered the split pea soup & chicken salad sandwich. Both were very good but the chicken salad was a little dry & could have used some salt & pepper as well as a little more mayonnaise. The soup was tasty but could have used some more bits of ham. I would recommend this place the food was fresh & good & the service was excellent.
Just a nice casual place to get a good bite to eat. Menu has some unique items that are executed really well!
I am surprised that this place isn't busier. The food is fantastic! First off, I love a place that leaves the coffee pot for you to fill yourself, no waiting to warm your cup. I had the Country skillet with eggs over medium. The eggs were perfect and all the ingredients in the skillet were very tasty. I had the Greek toast on the side, nice thick slices with great flavor. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again!
Great food
Waitress bought scrambled eggs instead of over-easy but it tasted great.
Toast doesn't come buttered
The German guy comes back, nice service, very good food 👌
