Fun new beer bar/restaurant in Elmhurst. High tech meets craft beer in a highly effective, efficient, and elegant way. In short, this place is a pour-your-own beer place where you pay per oz so you can sample many beers and even a few wines and pour whatever amount you want of each. They also have a full kitchen serving up some delicious barbecue. Tax and gratuity is included in all prices. As you walk in, you'll be greeted and asked for your ID and a credit card. They'll keep your credit card up from like an open tab and give you a Pour Card. Once you're seated, you'll be able to order from a full barbecue menu. There are appetizers, salads, desserts, and plenty of great entrées to choose from, so don't only think of this place as a bar (though just drinking and not ordering food is also usual here). Ordering food is a very new (for 2017) experience where you'll use a little tablet fixed to the side of your table to put in your order exactly as you want it. While you wait for your food to come out, you might as well get to the main course and go samples some beers and pour a pint of your favorite. There is a selection of 40+ craft beers, mostly local, from a variety of breweries and beer types. Two beer assistants were available and gave friendly input whenever we had questions or thoughts on the beers we were sampling. Across the 4-5 I sampled, I had some amazing beers and really nothing less than damn good. A waitress arrived with our food quickly, and we enjoyed what turned out to be a delicious entrée of brisket, mac n cheese, and sweet potato fries. Hanging casually is encouraged as there's no rush to leave, and we hung around and had a few more beers and more sampling. All in all, it was a great casual time and we'll definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Loved everything about it, the fact that staff are paid a decent wage, the fact that everyone was attentive and friendly, beer selection was awesome and reasonable. My only complaint was that the music selection was good awful. A suggestion I have for my complaint. If you could get it integrated into your system, all tables that have a card can thumbs up or thumbs down the song. When a certain percentage of guests thumbs down a song you pull it from your play list or skip it.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Great weather so doors were open to outside. Large indoor with plenty of seating. Dozens of drink options that let you try as much as you want of anything. Obviously subjective but good pop punk and current pop music. The food looked good online but I was in Chicago for a day and wanted to try Lous and they accommodated and let me hang out and drink. Great place!

Lived in town all my life and just now visiting this place which is fairly new to town. Good food and tons of options for beer. We felt safe eating outside given the coronavirus restrictions in place. Tacos were pricey but would definitely visit here again and recommend to family.

Great! Great place! The service was awesome! Had the slider sampler, sorry no pics on it (want in the take long enough). Very very good. Also had the deep fried Twinkies, they were out of the chocolate syrup that was supposed to be on it and substituted caramel sauce. And All I can say is WOW! Go with caramel. I'll be back again and again...

Neat place, love the whole self-pour thing! Good choices if you're not a beer drinker, which is nice. Decently priced, and my chopped salad was tasty! Tried both Strawberry sauced cider and the Apple one, and those were yummy. Then moved on to the mixed drinks...mermaid water was cute, but a little sweet for me. Cranberry crush was my favorite of the evening.

Amazing food, and drinks on tap.I came here for a private party and had buffet food and drinks..The beef sliders(burgers) were very good.My favourites were the egg roles and buffalo cauliflower, and pretzels(pretzels were one of the best I have ever had)..they have a huge collection of draft beers, and the prices are very decent, I would recommend the Pilsener and any of the porters..

What great idea...beer by the ounce! Try as many as you like with no fear of emptying your wallet. The food is not served like standard bar fair..it has a bit of style in presentation. I wish the "smoked right here" meats had more smoked flavor. The food is a bit more expensive than I liked but it isn't over the top...this is "downtown" so to be expected. This isn't a place to hammer down beer but rather explore a wide range of beers easily and inexpensively. I'd take anyone here who had an interest in checking out new styles of beer they might not consider otherwise.

Awesome steup! I love the approach, pooring your own drink is fun and the food was top notch. A lot a great craft beers on tap. I had a pastrami sandwich and it was about as good as it gets.
