Old Country Buffet

Before I start I just want to say this place NEVER disappoints and we usually come on a Saturday or Sunday depending on when we take our occasional 2 hour drive to the Corning Elmira area from our home in PA. Yeah...that's how much we enjoy it. I never reviewed this place before but we were on our way home on a Monday this time, after a long weekend, and the wife suggested we stop here to not waste time with a sit-down waitress service place and I was like 'Gee...I dont know...on a Monday???" Glad I listened to her! The staff today at around 230pm on a Monday afternoon was SUPER friendly...from the register to the lady taking our plates to the attendant at the buffet. Just super friendly happy people and very accomodating and hats off to the attendant keeping the food fresh and water fillled in the steamers. At the lunch menu prices to go up and get two meals it was LOTS cheaper than going even to a Subway! As I said earlier, always good but was more than pleasantly surprised with how great this place was for a Monday afternoon! Keep up the great work guys as most places on a Monday get the worst staff working there! Thanks again for a great meal!

This place has been hit or miss for us. Most of the time the food is good, they refill empty things very quickly and people are polite and willing to help when needed. Plus Thursday's are kids night and kids get a free balloon and other stuff by my son is too young so I'm not sure what other stuff it entails. We keep going back though!
