Great local place. This little gem sits right on M-32 in Elmira. First thing you notice right off the bat are the beautiful flowers and plantings near the door. Someone has a green thumb, which is always a nice touch.

The interior is nice, with some large and small tables. You seat yourself. The menu has some terrific sounding breakfasts, which they serve until noon and all day Sunday. As it was lunch time I got a chicken quesadilla which was tasty and big. That and a coke cost less than $10

This joint is not fancy, but the food is good and timely. Service was friendly.

Free wi-fi too.

A little hidden gem... One from Southeast Michigan, I find myself frequenting the Northern parts of the state for easy getaways. Recently my destination was Boyne City. It's around a 5 hour drive from Detroit.

About 45 minutes from my destination, we noticed this small little dingey diner type looking joint. As hungry as we were, it really didn't matter the risk we were about to partake on.

To my amazement, this was the best risk I have ever ventured on when it comes to food and I loved it. I love little dinery "looking" hole-in-the wall type places that fool me when it comes to food.

The sign said "Fish Friday's" and my stomach said "yes". The neat thing was, there wasn't just one type of fish. The selection ranged from fresh Cod, Michigan Perch, to Meditraninian Walleye dish which consisted of fresh vegetables from the garden out back and kalamatta olives sauted in a lemony buttery type sauce. It really heightend the flavors of a perfectly cooked Walleye with a nice crunch on the bottom and a soft delicate center.

Lets not forget the fresh cut fries doused with malt vinegar which I choose to add. I also had to order a salad because of the fact the tomatoes were from the garden out back and they had a Gorgonzola Vinagerette, a dressing I have never heard of.

In conclusion, I rate this little Gem a 5 outa 5 stars.. It's success in the future of Cafe 32 will just alone be based on word of mouth if they stay as consistant as the experience I had. It's a must stop concluding a long drive to the Traverse City, Boyne mountain area of Michigan. I plan on stopping again on the way back south.

Comfortable, clean and delicious. We had been through Elmira a few times and noticed Cafe 32, but we finally stopped in for breakfast one Saturday. They had a couple of specials that day that sounded good, but my wife and I decided to go with the farmer's omelette. Food was fresh and the portions were perfect. It's open and comfortable inside and the staff was super friendly. Also, it looks like easy access for snowmobilers off Trail 76. There were a couple of sleds in the parking lot when we were there. Please note you should plan to be there for breakfast or lunch as it looks like they close around 2PM most days. Highly recommend. We will be stopping in again!!

First of all, I appreciate the responsibility they are taking with reopening. I just listened to the voicemail on their system and it was heartfelt and honorable. Second, the last time we ate their the food was amazing. Their omelettes are perfect. Bring your appetite for sure!

Great breakfast! I love the meaty omlet, wife loves the banana bread French toast. Quality and quantity at a very fair price, unusual find in a small town. Don't pass it, it's a must to try.

Better food and a bit more expensive than you'd expect for a local cafe. I found it a pleasant surprise. I had a fried fish special that turned out to be pan fried, not deep fried. Excellent!

Stopped at this little cafe on a whim and the breakfast skillet was great! The biscuits and gravy was truly homemade and delish! Just happened to have $5 bloody marys, yes please! We'll be back!

Great breakfast. Service was good. There was 8 in our group and 30 other customers there. Took 18 minutes total to order and receive our meal. That's not bad.

Very good Friday fish fry! Good service too. We never stopped because we didn't think they had liquor license, but they do!
